This sounds like the perfect movie to watch on streaming
Or just skip altogether like I have since the 1st one.
@@playedout148 I enjoy them in a guilty pleasure way
@@Steven-sd2zi they are fun and somewhat entertaining. Nothing more
Hate how they made Venom a joke character
I could not care less about this series of movies... Tom Hardy deserves better
Sounds like an accurate review, I’m the same on the first two movies as you. Happy this take on venom is over.
I haven't seen this recent Venom film, but the last two were awful. Venom has been treated terribly in these recent movies, and Venom and Spider-Man fans deserve better movies with this character. It just all feels like such a waste.
All of the Sony films are equally terrible. Just bog standard low effort shlock
@@boat1280 I completely agree. These movies feel like the worst comic book movies from the late 90s and early 2000s. Just bad direction and writing. Low effort shlock is the perfect way to describe them. It just hurts sub-genre overall.
Venom in these movies is exactly how Venom was in the 90s comics which the movies are clearly based on. He was always a corny goofball
@@91mmafighter Yeah, a big corny goofball that stalked and terrified MJ in his first appearance. A corny goofball that would prowl around Aunt May's neighborhood in full view of Peter who was terrified Eddie Brock would break in and murder Aunt May. A big corny goofball who wanted to systematically terrorize Spider-Man's loved ones and friends before he hunted down and killed Peter. Yup, a big corny goofball.
@@chrisjherman Yea, a big corny goofball who quotes Mr. Rogers, a big corny goofball who would regularly sing including his own "Venom-man" theme song and making corny quips all the time. A big corny goofball who dressed up as nun to infiltrate a church. A big corny goofball who dressed up as Santa and gave out presents. Even teaming up with Spider-Man from time to time. If you read any of his stand alone stories like Lethal Protector, Venom vs Carnage, The Hunger, or any of his other 90s stories which the movies are clearly based on, then you would know that, yes, he was big corny goofball.
In short, none of these movies are even half as good as Upgrade.
Agreed. Upgrade is such a great film. Wonderful way to do a horror take on Venom.
Probably not…but hopefully we leave this Venom in the past and this whole Sony Universe while we are at it
I wished for the same thing with Disney SW… yet here we are
I was surprised it was out, not internationally, but still out
If they flipped the second act with the first act I think many people would have appreciated the story way more. Then Knull would be introduced by Steven Grants character to the audience and it would build up better. But to be fair I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS, Both in the story as in the AMAZING IMAX cinematic shots.
Keep this away from Spider-Man 4. Sony, do all of us a favor and just back off from that movie and let Marvel do their thing. Nobody wants to see this version of Venom cross over into the MCU & Judging by the reviews I’ve seen so far Knull seems pretty underwhelming. Just give us that street level Daredevil team up movie, that’s really what fans want.
I swear I saw this same comment somewhere else as well. And I agree.
Nah I would love to see Venom interact with the other marvel characters
@@Feline-STARS okay, well let that happen in Secret Wars
No this is leading to Spider-Man 4
I am not gonna lie, the 2nd film pissed me off and I written off Sony films moving forward…but I will eventually watch once it streams tho…
What if I liked the 1st one, but not the second one? How does this movie compare?
They tied in Roswell into it😂😂😂😂 geeezus chroist
show me them aliens!
MCU when you’re ready, please do Venom justice please please cause yikes!!
I think the Directing was fine. A lot of the jokes didn't land but overall, I wasn't ever bored. It was just alright. Like the rest of the franchise.
Thanks for the honest review, I like the first one 6/10, thought the second one was horrible 4/10 so if you say it's the best out of the bunch then it's worth a watch for me. Not close to a stellar franchise but entertaining enough, and yeah, the main draw is the Eddie Brock/Venom relationship. The plot and side characters have either been passable, uninteresting, or in venom. 2's case, extremely disappointing for me.
Campea will be swinging his legs while watching this and will probably cry
I liked the first one,not the second one….just hope that this one won’t dissappoints
I feel bad for the overall character of venom and I feel bad for Tom hardy
I’m gonna keep my hopes low 😂. Gonna watch it next week
2:42 The full New Yorker symbiote tried to take over Kristian for a sec there
I liked the first one. Second was kind of dumb. The trailer doesn't make me want to go see it.
First two movies were awful… this sounds like it may be worse, if that’s possible 🤷🏼♂️
Then why the hell you are coming and seeing this review, if you don't like first two
@@kishorek6274 to see if it was any better.. obviously it isn’t unfortunately
I really want Toby's Spider-man 4, but only if Sam Raimi has full creative control
Didn't care for the venom movies... Hardy deserved better...Sony dropped the ball with this character imo...
I liked venom ,i think i will venom3 As well .The hate for these movies is unnecessary tbh .
The million dollar question is
Is it worth paying full price at the theater or is it worth watching at home streaming? 😂😂😂
Just came out of the press premiere.. Definitely an IMAX must watch cinema experience..
Don't bother either way.
A solo Venom franchise should have been rated R and keep the jokes from becoming a joke. Maybe Marvel and Sony can deliver something with Venom in future Spider-Man films.
Venom was never R Rated and was very much like the movie version in the 90s comics.
So sick of these horror fans wanting venom to be violent and evil.
It’s bad.. It’s REALLY bad 😂 These Venom movies were NEVER living up to the epicness they could’ve been, period.
Didn't dig the first, really liked the second, thoroughly upset with the third. This is the worst of the three.
hopefully it good!!!
Just finished watching it and for me it was okay. The jokes didn't land for me, the story was a mess but I had fun. Possibly the weakest film in the trilogy in my opinion but an okay watch if you enjoyed the first two.
Idk what it is about these movies but it feels like Tom throws out his acting skills which he is such a great actor in other movies, and it feels like he phones it in half the time
If you are reading this comment stay off the internet, the director Kelly Marcel revealed who is playing Knull openly for some reason and now I’m mad
Guess kraven is dead in the water unfortunately after this...sounds dead but oh well
The other two were ok, not my favorite iteration of the character, but this one was horrible. Tom Hardy really got bored with this one, and felt like he was there just to fulfill his contract obligations.
I’m gonna argue a bit, I loved the 1st movie. 2nd movie was ok, but this movie is an absolute mess. From start to finish it is all over the place. The movie doesn’t know what it wants to be. It’s simply not good
How's Stephen Graham in the movie? Love him a British gem
Tom Hardy my favorite actor❤
Love the show! Looking forward to this movie, seeing it tomorrow night! Going in with very low expectations though
You say if you liked the first two movies, you would like this one. But you didn't like the first 2 but liked this one, so I'm confused.
Like some because that Tom hardy okey this how venom how they exited because people there laughing
Yeah it's garbage.
You can tell this movie is terrible by the fact that it sounds like something from Magic Mike
I thought this was non spoilers
Is their cameos
Hot Take: 2024 the worst year in cinema?
This is a piece of crap. Sony should return Spider-Man and all of his characters back to Marvel.
Not happening
Why they’re still making a profit off these movies?
@@Alton7771 I was watching an old episode of Entourage when the head of the studio bought a movie just to mess up Vinnie. I guess this is what is happening with the Sony head squeezing all of their money before they return it to Marvel."
Entourage really had some crazy plots, huh? Marvel and Sony's tug-of-war over characters has been quite the spectacle too.
@@CJSan2024 but he still made a profit with the venom movies
My question is if Eddie and Venom died ??????😩
Eddie dies.

@@XemelyC I don't wear caps of any kind.
Venom 10/10
Venom Let There Be Carnage 10/10
Venom The Last Dance 10/10
Agreed. Solid movies and an amazing finale.. Bittersweet ending.
Venom 1 10/10; Venom 2 8/10; Venom 3 10/10 👍👍👍🔥
Curious. Why does everyone say venom 2 is worse? It literally has carnage who was cool
I know its cliche to say it almost cringeworthy but i did shut down my brain and embrace the goofness of the movie and had a great time, its not a good movie by any means but if u know and understand how Sony has aproached this movies and take it for what it is, the fact that Tom Hardy managed to get a triology of Venom is a achieviment on itself.
