  • Hey guys.
    This is not meant to be a how to since there's already a bunch of them out there but just in case you want to do something similar here's a list of the things I used:
    The moton raceworks breather:

    3/8npt to -10AN:

    Catch can:

    RTV:

    Taps and drill bits:
    M4x0.70 tap and #30 drill bit
    3/8-18npt tap and 37/64 drill bit

      Will do!

    This would only work for stock motors. Once you go with a higher compression motor and road race, you will fill that can fast.
    I do however like the innovation with the top breather.

      I would definitely like to find out if this would work on a built 4G.
      Hopefully someone with a built engine sees this and give it a shot and reports back. Or if eventually I do a built engine I’d put it to that test.
      I am taking the car to Sebring International in November so all the updates are going to get hard testing

      @@Justa2L as long as you have an OEM moto,r filling a catch can usually isn't an issue. If you watch the Gears and Gasoline videos. I helped with the solution and it's basically a scavenging system that pulls oil out of the catch can and back into the motor.
      The actual issue is the cylinder blow by into the crankcase not only prevents proper draining. It acts like a siphoning and pushes oil into the catch can. There is so much oil vapor in the head, it needs to go somewhere.

      So I lost that car to an accident.
      But I picked up another 9 and did the same mod to it and this one does have a built bottom end.
      I have not thoroughly tested it on track yet but hopefully in the near future I will

    Just do a breather from the engine block, no need to mod the cover.

    • @Justa2L
      @Justa2L  ปีที่แล้ว

      Drilling the block is a lot more more nerve recking then drilling the VC
      But I heard from Mike @Infiniteevo that he made a vent on top of the valance shaft cavity and that worked really good without filling the can

    • @illarion8954
      @illarion8954 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Justa2L It may work ok but on that side oil go down to the block from the head and for that reason in stock mode this vent is closed by the turbo pressure
