It's nice so many of the autocracy share the history of the property so old. They take great pride in upkeep and the history. They always flesh out facts about certain times in history you don't get from big productions.
Wow… beautiful. And the family that own the property come across as so grateful and kind.. they really appreciate what they have inherited and work so hard to keep it in the family . Magnificent ❤
Oh, thanks does not seem enough to you Julie and especially Lord and Lady Camoys. The Camoys great generosity of spirit and tremendous care and support of history - this brought tears to my eyes that such families with open hearts keep the sweet, precious and sometimes sad and tumultuous history alive!
What a lovely and interesting chap. As a British Christian it was so interesting to hear about the history of Stonor during the reformation/ counter reformation & Campion.
Amazing consistent Family Lineage, and a Catholic Family, unique. It's so great that they survived "Henry VIII" (This has to be rare!) My 1st viewing of this Estate and Family. Gorgeous Garden!!! Really nice Couple! 🏆
Such a beautiful family the Stonors. During times of persecution of Catholics in England, during and after the reformation, the family would facilitate local Catholics to continue attending mass by allowing them to come and pray in the private family chapel. Risking literally everything in doing so. They’re marginalisation & punishment by the Protestant hierarchy is one of the main reasons this place remains so unchanged. Been there over 850 years the stonors. Beautiful, this is heritage. God Bless them.
You know, for being an aristocrat whose family goes back to 1200 in England, he really seems like a sweet guy. Pretty humble for someone in that social standing.
Thank you for this! It's refreshing to watch an unapologenic story of people who work hard and dedicate their lives to preservation of beautiful things ❤
Incredible how the family history has been preserved so precisely. This is actually the first time I've seen this . Usually there are many gaps and wishy washy half stories. 🕊️❤️
Really loved learning about all the history of this amazing home. I wish there could be a Part 2 because there were so many things I saw that he didn't have a chance to tell us about.
May God Bless The Stoner family and their home. They are many things, but most importantly they are The Guardians of ancient pagan stones. Allowing those very first ways and space of ealy religion of people to stand strong and peacefully and to remind us of how and where religion comes from. Thank you.
19:03 ⚓ Actually there use to be an inland Sea that flowed into the Mohave Desert. Thus, the map is accurate, our "Mainstream Academic" History is off. There was an old Spanish ship that got stuck out there and countless stories use to indicate it has Gold on it. Several men died trying to find it. The Mohave Native Americans validate the story of the Ship. Circa (16th Century +/-) Course it ultimately dry rotted, maybe one day they will find the Anchor and the fittings. I suspect it got looted many times. Beth Bartlett Sociologist/Behavioralist and Historian .
Traditionally yank alliances have been good sources of financial renewal for old families. She doesn’t come from money tho so probably love in this case. She’s very sweet, bubbly, and full of awe for history not to mention quite nice looking… I can see why she’d be a good match for a future Earl

Wow😮: never let a beautiful old stone circle get in the way of a driveway design .. ever.

I don’t understand why they would guard ancient PAGAN stones/anything. 🤷🏻♂️
Perhaps there’s more to this story than told.
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing history. I truly appreciate being able to see your home. ❤️❤️
I absolutely DISLIKE wallpaper. But I would love to have that wallpaper in the dining room! I love it!
Its a pity a road splits the circle

I think Julie Montague should be given an Order of the British Empire by the King for all she has done for Britain.!❤

Thank you for your comment. 💐❤️
That wallpaper 😌☕🙌
Please work with a tour company to set up a trip to visit these wonderful homes.
Everytime you say Stoner House, I hear Stoner House 😂😂😂
Catholics couldn't have horses for a time. I've never heard that before.
Lovely history in travels.😊
Why did they walk away from the Neolithic standing stones without explaining them at all, only to enter a boring remodeled chapel?
Seriously??
Wow completely different from merkle earkle.
Because it was there first?
Cycled pass here the other day!
The Viscountess annoys me, she buts in too much. Just be quiet and let the guest speak.
cool house...but that dude doesn't let Julie barely get a word in before interrupting again... annoying
