About 50 years ago we had a spot in Southwest Florida where it was common to catch pinfish over a pound and a couple close to 2 lb but they built a desalination plant and would dump the waste into the creek and the giant pinfish disappeared along with the amount and size of the mangrove snappers

Great video as always i want to try and catch some mangrove in December when I come down to Disney can you still get them then
@@garygould2194 typical the Mangrove bite slows down or completely shuts off in the winter, sometimes you can catch undersized ones.
