I remember when this came out in the 90s this was ground breaking graphics back then. Going from the sega genesis to this was insane.

Back in the days, there was absolutely nothing above this game in the « Vs fighting field. »

Looks good. I’ll be playing this game all over again to unlock all the characters. Great memories. All I need is Soul Edge, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer 1 & 4, Wipeout 1, XL & 3, Metal Gear Solid, Enhinder, Tomb Raider 1-3, Rayman... the PSone have so many awesome games!

I like the PS1 graphics of Tekken 2.
We don't need them on PS4 or PS5 nor PS3 neither PS2 except PS1 Games on PS1/PSX Consoles

Tekken 2 is definitely the better-looking game so far.
I would love to see all the ps1 and Ps2 Tekken , Resident Evil ,Metal gear , Silent hill and more games if they want they can easily add all the psp games aswell for other games aswell
Tekken 2 is the first game I’ve ever played. I was only 3 when it first played it. I wasn’t any good at it obviously but I still remember this game.

Put this on Duckstation emulator and you will feel the same
no filtering and use of dithering would be a nice option

The poligons' edges are a trademark of Ps1, I prefer those. Ps5 graphics looks like an emulator.

No unfortunately to play this game on ps4 or ps5 you NEED to have a playstation plus subscription but you will need to buy the playstation premium package to play this on ps4. Some other ps1 games on ps4 like worms armageddon, toy story 2 and oddworld abes odyssey among others you can download for a price but Don't need any playstation plus subscription to download these games on ps4. Tekken 2 you have to have a playstation plus membership to play on ps4 or ps5

It is not really about the graphics, even if they are better in Tekken 3…
It is more about a more nervous and way faster gameplay in in Tekken 3.
( I remembered playing Tekken 3 and coming back playing to Tekken 2…. In comparison, Tekken 2 felt like playing in slow motion compared to Tekken 3.)
Tekken 1 & Tekken 2 can have 9 Normal Random Opponents at 9 Stages for Arcade & Time Attack only while The Final Boss being Stage 10 rather than Sub Bosses Semi Bosses & no Mid Bosses

I don't quite see the point of this comparison, it's the same game rendered at a higher resolution, with maybe some emulation inaccuracies but if gameplay is solid, it shouldn't be an issue.
The game looks much better and has much smoother fps with technical issues fixed and new trophies and more replay value

The sound is also uncompressed, making for an amazing experience with headphones too
@@ubergamer2010 it’s a shame they couldn’t rerender the cgi movies or backgrounds at a higher resolution too but thanks for the tip on the audio I’ll have to check it out with my Focal Utopias ;)

Na XSX Tekken 2 wygląda jak gra z PS2.
4k60fps, af16, filtr xbr, poprawiona geometria tekstur plus trofea i quick save. Tutaj tak sobie na odwal.
Xsx is garbage and games on it look outdated and inferior 💩

Niestety nie odpali tego w mojej konfiguracji poprawnie na XSX. Najlepiej ogrywać ver. 1080p z PS3.
Jednak już taki
Tekken 5 działa niemal idealnie w 4k60 na XSX. Problemem jest tylko obrót kamery na słońce w stage na dachu.
Bardzo dużo gier lata w 4k60.
Silent Hill 2 chodzi idealnie tak samo wszystkie Pesy od Konami. Warto się pobawić nie mają dobrego pieca do emulacji.

@@baroncalamityplus That is true, but then you would be using a PC, not a PS to play classic games, right? None of the big three companies really allow you to modify emulator settings apart from the superficial.

@@anishbasak3117 Official software made by paid professionals on official hardware should be better than unofficial hijinks by armatures. Especially if they are asking money for it.
It's as good as it will be. It janks sometimes and characters skins get pulled into long strings covering the screen but it's rare and at the block of an eye.
