To me it feels symbolic of when these women kind of stop being people and start being just females if that make sense. In like the sense of dehumanization and objectification. Like not that’s there’s anything inherently wrong with being a housewife but with Trinna for example she’s been kinda used and eventually discarded by Marvin as his wife.
