A Primer on the Volume Profile and Market Profile with Chris Cady and Steve Hawkins

In response to the recent explosion in interest in Volume and Market Profile, we brought in two experts to explain what they're all about, dispel common misconceptions, and help traders understand how to put them to work.
Chris Cady and Steve Hawkins bring more than 50 years combined experience using profiling at the highest professional levels, having learned it directly from Steve's business partner and creator of the Market Profile, J. Peter Steidlmayer.

Chris Cady bio:
Chris got his start trading markets in 1980 from Walter Frank Sr., then chairman of the NYSE. In 1984 he became a student of Victor Sperandeo, aka "Trader Vic" of Market Wizards fame, and in 1991 became a student of Peter Steidlmayer, creator of the Market Profile. He has been a member of both New York and Chicago exchanges for over 30 years, and spent 5 years training new traders for Goldman Sachs. Chris is currently an independent, professional trader on the CME.
Steve Hawkins bio:
Steven Hawkins has acted as an institutional broker and analyst to some of the largest investment banks and trading houses in the world (including Citi Bank, Goldman Sachs, Tudor Investments). Additionally, he has traded at prop firms and managed funds for banks and CTA's. His most recent book, "Steidlmayer on Markets, Trading with Market Profile™” is universally considered to be the classic guide to the revolutionary technical trading methodology called Market Profile™.

Man i got so many aha moments from this video just from Steve and Chris explaining market profile and i been using this tool for a year now from watchin Chris talk on other videos and explaing how the market will keep taking orders until there is no more orders to fill and Steve explaining the market profile just gave me more knowledge and how to look a market profile as a birds eye view to better gauge your trading ideas in the market OMG i see it know thanks so much for these videos and education
