Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq: Melting the heart in the ice of man

A short snippet from Week 4 of our course KINSHIP: World as Archipelago. In this session, Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq, whose family belongs to the traditional healers from Kalaallit Nunaat, Greenland, shares a message about the necessary kinship between us all, the melting of the ice in the world due to the climate crisis and how that needs to happen in our hearts instead. He shares wisdom and tells stories passed down from his family, and reminds us about why kinship is so key, in an archipelagic world.

ABOUT ANGAANGAQ ANGAKKORSUAQ:
Angaangaq is a shaman, traditional healer, storyteller and carrier of the Qilaut (wind drum). His family belongs to the traditional healers from Kalaallit Nunaat, Greenland. His engagement with environmental and indigenous issues has brought him to more than 70 countries worldwide. His spiritual task - given by his mother - is to "melt the ice in the heart of men".
