She also did not like to travel at all because the two sisters associated travel with racing only and no fun time. I had them from two year olds and lost them at the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021 at around 13-14 years of age. My girls and my big lad, who was raced in Ireland and the UK was four when I took him in and he lived until around 14 and a half when, finally his legs, that carried an injury to one hind leg, finally gave out on him altogether. My three were lucky, I can tell you horrendous stories of how greyhounds, and racehorses, are 'disposed of' when no longer worth their weight in gold. I would pray that more people would realise the cruelty behind what they just see as a fun day out.

The problem isn't racing the dogs, it's the breeders. They will raise 100 dogs to get one good one. Some places have rules about what they do with unwanted dogs. And by the way, they make fantastic pets. 45mph couch potatoes.

I think it might be that many of the owners dispose of the dogs once it's not good for racing (like after 3 years). They often end up left on the side of the road or abused. I'm not saying all owners do that, but certainly a good amount have done that for people to think that dog racing is morally wrong. The act of racing isn't abuse, but the training before and disposal of race dogs after might be. Hope that clears things up

No they don't. They were forced to this, they had no choice. Would you like to have to run everyday, for the rest of your lives, thrown away once you are to old, or killed because of an injury? They could have been happy but these disgusting people forced them to do this. So no, the dogs don't like it, but they were taught never to feel anything but hatred and fear.
