Oh man, I am so happy for you! I have been a stay at home mom for over 7 years now, with three kids (7, 6, & 18 months). I am doing the opposite as you and going back to school this fall to become and Elementary teacher. It is such a blessing to be home with your children and watch them grow, you are truly blessed to have the opportunity. I can't wait to watch as you navigate this next phase of your life! Enjoy!
I teared up watching this vlog💜 It reminded me of how much effort we as teachers put into teaching and how much I’m going to miss one of my bosses if she gets moved to another school. Thanks for sharing part of your journey with us Emma but this is only the beginning💜
Watching this after leaving my school this past Thursday for another career. I was a music teacher in a K-10 school. Eighth graders were so sad knowing I wasn’t going up with them and showed it. Took me right out emotionally at the end as every single one of them came and found me before dismissal. Very emotionally draining but totally worth it.
I’m not moving schools or anything but this is so relatable and helps remind teachers of the positives that come from all the hard work and makes me very grateful for the amazing students I spent the year with. Thanks for being so authentic (:
I’ve been here since your first year and I’ve cried like 3 times during this video lol. I’m so excited for this new chapter in your life! God is so good and He’s truly made you special. Thank you for all you do! And enjoy your summer with sweet Jo! 🤍
Thank you so much for sharing your story. You’re the first teacher that I found on TH-cam and have helped me get through my last 3 years of college and my student teaching. I am starting my first year of teaching this fall, and you’ll continue to be such an inspiration to me. I’m excited to continue following you and best of luck with your new journey!
i just gave comment on one of your post I said I am grateful for your vlog because I am a teacher and feel helped, then I am craving more for your videos and I found this. it's so sad... I feel like just meeting youf the first time, ready to view some more of your vlogs but now you should go when I am just about motivated to be a more serious teacher and mom. anyway I thank you, you make me realize that I must be able to balance this life..being a mom an a teacher. God bless you and your family... warm hug for Jordan.
Emma, The moment where those kids hugged you on the last day of school reminded me of the day that I graduated from high school in May of 1997. You have shown the world that despite what you had to deal with and what your now former students had to deal with during the middle of the school year when the academic pressure is on that at the end of the school year when the pressure is off and the academics are over you truly are full of "Grace" and that should be the No.1 deciding factor of the success of a teacher. Congratulations and I wish you the best with being a stay at home mother. I pray for your continued stability. - Dwight
Crying right along with you. 😢 This job really is so special, hard but special. And its sad when things come to an end. So happy to see you embrace this new chapter! Will definitely continue to follow along on your journey. Thank you for sharing with us ❤
Those Binders mean so much to parents! I got one this year at the end of VPK. I cried! Thank you for doing this and please enjoy your time with your daughter!
omg why am *I* crying 😭 this was so sweet! it reminded me of my first grade teacher and her version of a memory book that i still have. 💖 those kids are gonna remember you forever! excited to see what comes next for you 🥲
So sweet Emma! Loved this video! You made me cry 😢. I’m changing schools and I get emotional just thinking about leaving my kiddos and former kiddos that have left a “mark” on me as well. Wish you all the best in your new season of life! 😊
My last days of teaching were good. I do must say I miss the students, not the adults. Have a great summer with your baby. Love you guys. California Joanna
I’m leaving a job I’ve had for almost two years because I don’t get good hours anymore for a new job closer to wear I live now with my boyfriend and I even have felt weirdly sad during my last days at this job so I can only imagine the bittersweet emotions from leaving something like teaching. But when the relief of knowing that you’re making the right choice for you hits, it’s going to be that much better
I am sooooooo stinking excited for you friend!!! I started watching you during COVID and last summer when you were doing only ‘mommy content’ and you were sooooo excited - you were glowing!!’ I will watch your videos as long as you want to make videos for us - I will support you any way I can sweet friend…. I love how you have grown and started talking more and more about Jesus…… 😍👏👏👏👏🙏
Congratulations! Hope you enjoy the time at home with your daughter 🩷 I’m a teacher so I know all the emotions you are going through! I’m currently on maternity leave 🥰 Loved your videos over the last three years, I will continue watching your videos no matter what the content is 🌸😊 xo
loved your journey through three years of teaching, etc. Just recently found a class pic of my first class teaching in 1989/1990 In Ontario, Canada. Wow, the memories, especially that first class ever kid that just entered my heart and left me saying Thank you that we crossed paths. There is something so sublime ,yet so profound sitting in that empty classroom on that last day. It's hard to explain, you just have to experience it. Thank you for being such a gift these past three years. I know your "kiddos" will carry you in their hearts for years to come. I close with an adaptation of a Morning and Evening prayer I did with my students directed to for you specifically: " God, creator of unfailing light, give that same light to those who call to you. May your lips praise you; May your life proclaim God's goodness; May your work give God honour, and may your voice celebrate God forever". I've seen that with you these last three years, God's speed in the next part of your journey. Peace and goodness, Chris ( P.E.I.) Canada.
Definitely didn’t make it through this dry eyed. I resonated so much with all the feels!! I had my last day last week and I’m changing schools next year. While I know it’s the right decision I’m going to miss my kids and this school so much. 😢
Lol the mouse story is so relatable.. I was the same way last week at church (we meet in a school) standing there absolutely ✨panicking✨ about a mouse while my team were the ones actually working on making sure it wasn’t in our stuff😅
I’ve been watching you since day 1 for teaching content but I've loved how your content has changed over the seasons. I plan to stick around because I enjoy seeing life outside of teaching. However, I'm sad to see you leave teaching but excited to see you flourish in your new purpose as a SAHM! Blessings to you Emma❤!
I recently became a SAHM mom as well and every morning I wake up I just thank the Lord for this opportunity. Like you, it is not lost on me how special this is. Enjoy your time ❤
I feel like you will be rich in the form of love, rich in the love your own kiddo will receive from family and friends. I can't wait to see how you get to be there for every milestone birthday she has and every accomplishment possible with whatever she chooses to do😊 out of curiosity too, what is that bubblegum video you were showing your students?
I’m so glad you had such a great last week with your class. I shed a few tears with you as well. It’s been a pretty emotional time with my youngest these last few weeks. She’s leaving elementary school and heading to Middle school and I just honestly can’t believe she’s ready to head to the 6th grade and my middle daughter will be a senior in high school. My “ babies” are growing up so fast! 😢 Enjoy your summer and your time with Jordan. I’m excited to continue to watch your videos and your new journey as a stay at home mom. ❤
What a great video and documentation of your last few days! I loved seeing your love for the kids and for teaching. I hope your next season is just as fruitful! Question: where did you get your first/last day dress from?? It is so beautiful and looks very comfy!
Loved watching how great and sweet with the kids. I just wished our son had you for a teacher when he was in first grade. It was 12 years of misery. His first grade teacher told me he was retarded he would never learn. He did graduate and can almost do anything he sets his mind to. Has 3 kids 1 girl and a set of twin boys.
Congratulations Emma. My name is Eddie Martinez big fan and love TH-cam videos and support you and beautiful and pretty you are too 😅😊😊😊🎉🎉😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤😅😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I just wanted to let you know I have been watching your videos getting caught up with all the ones I missed!!! I love that I can watch your videos and never get bored or tired of them. I am watching video after video!! SO encouraging and inspiring and I love seeing your relationship with Papa Jesus Christ and your love for what you do and for your children at school and your own child and family it's so beautiful !! You are such an inspiration to me and I know so many others. I love your hair and you are so beautiful!! I am so HAPPY for everything the Lord Jesus Christ has blessed you with - your family, getting pregnant, marriage, your first temporary home and now your forever home. It's so beautiful and hopeful !! You remind me Jesus still in the miracle working business haha He can truly do anything !

The kid that yelled "Hey, yo! Dumb ball!" had me laughing lol
Michael and I laughed so hard while I was editing that part😂

"Yeah!"
"No."
So relatable as a teacher lol
😂😂
I want to do a nature day. What are the things you did outside? I would love some ideas.
