its fun watching spilled ink exploring various forms of art. from watercolor to food, i hope there would be a time daidus and emily would try crocheting because i know daidus would get so frustrated by that
The instructor's crafting skills were a marvel to behold, she made making that lettuce and tempura prawn look effortless! There's something almost magical about watching someone who's doubtlessly done something like that hundreds of times, and how their finesse belies just how hard they've had to work to get that good.
Really niche, but I think an awesome idea would be aquarium aquascaping. You can make just about any setting you want, from the underwater city of Otoh Gunga on Naboo in Star Wars, to the ruins of Beleriand and Numenor under the waves in Lord of the Rings, to any of the Water Temples in Zelda, the possibilities are endless. Plus, Japan's aquascape community is just so amazing and unique
"I saw what you did to the Nori" LMAO EMILY 🤣 But it honestly turned out great with the glue and gave it an extra shine! I really enjoyed this episode! I always wanted to see how those fake food displays were made. I'm definitely going to try and book a class for my trip and also get one of the other kits too! 🙂
13:53 ,Emily calling daidus "honey" is my new roman empire,it's so cute, they are one of the cutest couples on TH-cam and make such wholesome content,it's such a cute little youtube safe place where they do art things♡
the soba and fried rice had me FEINDING. You could put those in front of me, tell me TO MY FACE that they're fake and made of all sorts of inedible substances, and the INSTANT you turn around I'd still scarf it down. Microplastics and all.
yk, i keep forgetting these two are couples, bro when emily called daidus, "Honey!" (at 13:52) i shipped them so hard- until i remembered that they're already a couple 😭😭
I really liked the vibe of this episode and the recent Geex+ collab episode! These out-of-office trips feel like fun special episodes, or side quests we get to go on. Like, I didn’t even know fake food props got this deep before now, but boy do I like fake shaved ice!! This stuff and the Trash Taste specials put a big goofy smile on my dry, dead face. 11/10, would tempura again
i used to watch soooo many food replica videos a few years ago. i'm going to tokyo in 4 days and i just learned there's a small shop in tokyo solamachi!! i'm definitely gonna try and get a kit to make back home so thanks for the convenient timing on the video hehehe👀👀👀
You 2 are such an adorable couple ! I wish you happiness and success together and also thank you for the fun videos and the hard work you both do for our enjoyment!!!!! Its greatly appreciated!
The way I would take a bite of any one of these wax foods without a second thought. Also does anybody remember putting warm wax on their hands and pulling it off, it was a like a spa style thing I would do with my Grandma it's just so fun and satisfying to work with. This is so fun to watch you both work on making these delicious foods!
This was really fun to watch! Since you’re exploring unique art forms for the channel, I was also thinking It would be a fun idea if you got some of those cute 3D wooden puzzles or book nooks and assembled them for a video
I bet they can replicate 3D dioramas of their most FAVORITE video game levels. That will be astonishingly gratifying to appeal those who have a history with video game artwork.
I recently went to Turkey to buy an empreinte multi pochette. They showed me a pack of kislux and it looked exactly like this. The texture was no different, the color and appearance was the same, I think I will enjoy buying here in the future.
This is cool. I watch minitures creation channels, so is like real sized versions of that! Love it🖤 glad it sounded like y'all had fun. I think this very cool but I have no patience😂
Next fake food video should include sanrio dishes, bowls or cups. Plus getting mini charms to make your own cafe fake food art. That would be super cool. And also making one themed for spilled ink.
i aspire to consume all micro and macroplastics. This looks delicious
You’re so real for that
Yum.
I remember once fighting myself trying not to eat clay cause it looked like a cake
Bro came outta nowhere huh?
Yay three of my childhood animators are here:D
GINGERPALE!!! ILYSM 🫶🫶
the instructor voice is the purest thing I have ever heard
She's clearly used to talking to small children.
@@krbthewitch so Daidus fits right in lol.

Amigurumi is gonna so fun!
The fact you suggested this just so you could watch daidus suffer 😭
@@bunni3817 omg a way to really make them suffer would be fancy food art
Daidus and Emily doing needle punching would be chaotic and I would love every sec of it
Ohhhh that would be awesome why not also cross stitching hehe
Daidus wanting to eat the fake cake pieces is such a mood lol
The video was 9 mins ago… but this comment was 2 days ago? Am I tripping?? 😭

The way she pulled the lettuce sheet so thin and perfect like it was nothing 😭
Ngl ink drops might be the cutest name for a fanbase😭❤️
We are ink drops
@@Butterfly_Azyou are right on that one but the person had said “fanbase” which means us! I think you meant the Chanel. 😭
Emily’s muppet persona always makes me laugh 😂
I also like furious gremlin Emily going "HEY!!!!!!!!" that typically appears after some COMPLETELY FAIR AND JUSTIFIED bullying from Daidus :p
That first cabbage by the instructor WAS SO COOL. And a store that sells food that stays? If I were rich I’d have a shelf of those they’re so pretty😭
“What are we building a Gundum?” had me in actual tears 😂

I second this. There are some insanely talented Japanese aquascapers. I love the organic look of their set ups.
Aquascaping looks absolutely stunning! I love how people can work with branches, driftwood, rocks, anything really and make something so lively!

emily calling daidus honey is so cute 😭
1:29 My jaw dropped and *stayed* dropped during that whole segment. That was amazing! Just that one slow move and it ends up looking so realistic!
That lettuce making looked like a very simple idea but the skill behind it is IMPRESSIVE

IM CRYING THE WAY DAIDUS JUST MANHANDLES THE WAX
i genuinely haven't stopped listening to spilled ink while drawing, this is my new Spotify and i'm not complaining
I love episodes like this when you guys go out and do different stuff from what you normally do! Keep up the good work!! :3
i gotta say, i would hate having a replica of the tastiest thing i could ever look at, but being unable to eat it
That would be torture, one day I would cave and there would be a big old bite mark in the middle of the fake food.
I don't care if they're made of wax or plastic. If it looks like food, I wanna eat it
8:27 emily got that youtuber voice down pact
an ad played for me as soon as Emily broke the chopsticks, and I died 🤣
Makes me want to see you two doing a garage kit or a figure repaint
I love how Emily hypes Daidus so much
It’s so adorable see yall complement each other 😭🫶
I love how creative this video is, and I like the idea of capturing an exquisite dish into a replica model, it's a duel on which is more delicious
Honestly i never watch this style of videos but when its you two its just so fun i love it
11:18 girl no 💅🏻✨
Isn't journaling with stickers and washi tapes a kind of hands on arts n crafts? 😅 It's just wild to hear Emily say that she doesn't 😅😅😅
Like, it’s just fancy scrapbooking with words. I do it all the time.
Emily count it as arts and crafts so that it comes up in spilled ink episode!!!
25:58 I spy a q-pot cardcaptor sakura coaster!
It's so cute how they don't really use acrylic paint, because stabbing the paint with its own cap is exactly what they did with the whip cream.

Man this was a nice surprise! I did not expect them to do stuff outside of drawing. This channels cooking up something good
I almost thought the instructor is a VTuber. This art form has always been so cool to me.
This is one of the best videos yet. I had no idea making fake food was so interesting and cool!!
