If you stop adding observation sections, they’ll go into the flow frames more and it’ll fill a lot more quickly; you may think there’s alot in there but they should be in there so thick you shouldn’t be able to see down the middle. All of my hives are FlowHives and I get two harvest a year out of them. Just make sure you’re not feeding sugar water while they have access to the FlowHive super or you’ll be harvesting alot of sugar water!!
Yes in one of your videos. Installing the package i think it was . You had a triangle looking piece to put the queen box in. I did not see that file in with your download or an i missing something?
I love your videos Teddy! infact I have been thinking of doing similar things for a long time. How did you come up with the ideas to 3D print the hive?? and how did you get the measurements so right? Do you think it would be possible to have flowhive frames inside the 3d printed cells? Flowhives are so expensive, and flow frames are truly the only magic in their product. If someone could find a way to put the frames into a 3d printed cell, that would be ideal, even better would be printing flow frames! but I would have no idea how to do that. Thanks!
I thought about printing the flow frames, but decided it would be easier to buy them. I found 7 frames for about $100. Then I made the wood box for them.
@@bigchessset Thats a steal of a deal!! right now they have 7 frames for $450. Thats just too much. If you have any thoughts on how frames could be printed, or if you could study your own and provide some measurements I could try to put something together. Either way I hope you upload a video of the flowhive working when they fill it up!

probably better to put new modules above the existing structures and not below
