We have also done the Svartälven in October once and then it's a completely different environment. Still, every month of the year has its beauty! I am sure you guys hardly saw any other paddlers in September and had the whole river to yourself!

The birds are much louder when you went, we were there in September and it was really empty in the wild. That must’ve been a huge pike that got away!
