    Carb is so much easier. But I do like that instant start on the efi.

      Yea. Everything else I own is carb. I’ve always had my yfz dialed in. She runs pretty crisp

    Hey man I have the same problem on my ltr 450. It was my dads and he passed and it sat for about 10 years . Carb was rusted and water got into the system . Got it running from bump start but still cant start normally

      Yea ours had a lot of corrosion in the throttle body. I would recommend cleaning that all out before running so it doesn’t end up in your motor.

    I’ve got an ltr450
    Starts up sometimes revs really high then cuts of then don’t start

      I would prolly go with checking valves to be honest not knowing much about your machine. Make sure your fuel filters are clean also.

    Hey the similar problem and I checked the pressure regulator and it came out normal but there is very little gas going to the pump and now the orange lit came on do you know if that means that there is very little gas going to the injector?

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you check your filter after the regulator?

      @@FullSpeedImpulse I didn’t open it all the way I only blow air and it seemed normal but I didn’t open all the way .Do you think it’s a good idea to open it all the way? Thank you for answering!

      Yes. Absolutely. I would buy a inline fuel filter and just pull out that pod filter. You might have to scroll through a couple of my ltr videos. But I do show you want to do. Obviously if you rather just keep it original you can just buy a new fuel pod but they get spicy in price

    What was the problem? Was it the TPS?

    You don’t have to drop the subframe to get the TB out

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      To remove the whole throttle body we removed the subframe. Which was actually really easy. Leave exhaust on. Just unclamp. Now if your talking about the TP sensor then all we had to do was push the fuel pump out of the way to get to that. Hope that helps. Good Luck! And keep watching!!!

      To each his own...it takes less time to remove it from the top without touching the subframe bolts. Just gotta hit it with your purse

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. This was my first time removing it so I went the route that seemed easiest. Maybe I’ll try removing next time with the subframe still attached. But hopefully there is not a next time. Lol

    So I probably shouldn’t buy this quad I found the exact same one in brand new shape

      I personally love the quad. This one had sat for awhile so it needed some love

      Suzuki ltr 450 is one of the best quads ever made.

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love my yfz but I do agree. They were ahead of their time when they made these. Fuel injection and already having long travel suspension. I’ll hold on to this gem forever. The last racing quad Suzuki made. Now I just need that quadzilla.
