Thank you so much for sharing your experience with our neck joint! 😄 May I suggest for the pilot hole to try to find an even smaller drill bit to make that initial hole with, mine is only about 1mm wide (super duper tiny!) I then work up from there.
Those heads are so tricky to get closed again aren't they! I think I usually press on the face plate, just ahead of where the ears are, there's a little hook inside that isn't very flexible that needs to 'catch'.
Aww thank you so much! I really enjoyed this, and have quite a few more of your videos in my 'to watch' playlist now too 🤩

Hi Beth! You are SO welcome, I cannot tell you how much your videos have helped me with multiple learning curves lol. Yes! I will for sure take your advice and try a smaller drill bit, that makes a lot of sense, and I think it will save me a lot of time in the future lol. Hahaha... yep, tricky is for sure the right word for those heads, and I'm always petrified of breaking or cracking one from using too much pressure 🥴 Thanks again very much for your pioneering work with the neck joints, and for your friendship and support! *hugs*

Use a dremel with a small drill bit❤

Yes! I actually thought of using my Dremel too, but I didn't have the proper type or size bit for this, and my husband said I would not have as much control and might accidentally damage the doll 😭I think I might try it in the future, if I can find a pin vise style drill bit that fits my Dremel. Thanks!! 😊
