I have 4 ideas that I think are going to be pretty cool! :) Please try them! 1. Grind up some sparklers and make homemade thermite 2. Put some lithium in a divot in a block of dry ice with some water and see if it will burn 3. Run a ridiculously large amount of voltage through some light bulbs in a series circuit and make them simultaneously pop 4. Put a stun gun or some electric current near a metal spinning fan blade

CLOROX BLEACH there's no reason you can't use heat inside the vacuum chamber, so long as there's a medium for it to travel through, like a popcorn popper, or melted butter in a heated pan. As far as the kernel itself, that's just expanding stream building pressure until the shell catastrophically fails. So yes, it can pop
I just want to say that there is an easier way to make this. Instead of doing all the stuff to the dispenser, you can just buy a funnel or make a funnel put of the foam core that leads into the ramp. You could even use one of the other bowls that you bought from the pack of four to make the funnel.
JCProfit look up gumball machine patents and see if you can figure out the mechanism.. But it would be alot of extra effort for something someone can break with their hands

You should revisit this sometime by taking the foam pieces you made and casting them in aluminum. Then in another video, see if you can melt some glass soda bottles hot enough to glass blow a globe for the gumballs. Lastly make a stand by welding with the electric welder you use and steel. Cast the King Of Random emblem as the knob. Auction the gumball machine off or have a contest to win it.

Only the weakest light bulb will pop if they are in series.
These are my favorite videos. Just building things. I like the other science videos but I wish we saw more of these

Jmasl the foam board used in this build has layers of thick paper, making an exact knife the best option. The heated wire will not cut the paper.

Yes it will the atmospheric pressure is low enough in the vacuum chamber to allow the kernel to pop....no heat needed.
