Awesome. Concise, informative and articulate. Great video
Appreciate the kind words, glad we could help
Thanks very much for the info. This is exactly what I needed to know:)
what i dont understand is why almost everything I want to trade says "route required" and I have NO idea how to create a route
There is a button for it on the right of the product, it costs some wealth tho
3:27
You just click the create a route cart icon
I want to start trading to get wealth but in order to trade I need to establish a route that costs wealth xD
@@DavePasta Trade resources that do not require a trade route first.. to earn the money to buy a trade route for more valuable items
I have a problem with imported goods not showing anywhere. I imported 28 shoes and can see them under "Commodities" at the top of the screen but I can't see where they actually are. They are not in the Storehouse, not at the Marketplace, and not at the Trading Post.
Thanks, I have just began to play the game, and I don't know how to do this. Now I know.
THE GAME IS HEREEEE
IT IS HEEERREEEE
What I don't understand is where I insert the amount I want to sell. I suspect desired surplus has something to do with it but I can figure it out. Is it the amount I want to sell, or the amound I want to have after the trade? I tried both ways but my traders stopped selling it completely 😀
Thanks man
You're welcome!
Any guide on how to trade between your regions?
Sorry to bother you mate but have you had any issues getting your buisnesses to pick up your imported goods from the trader? I've set it to say a minimum surplus of 25 and the 25 is just sitting there in the Trade House while the buisness that should use it is basically just idling? I have families working in all the necessary locations (Trade House and the Malthouse) but they don't pick up the 25 Barley they need to get going. Also increased the families in both the Store House and the Granary to see if they would pick it up and deliver it but no, they can't be arsed either 😝. I'm at a bit of a loss with it and struggling since the recources aren't being used!
No need to apologize mate, its literally what we are here for lol
Have you tried changing the surplus?
My understanding is that setting the surplus to 25 means the trading will stop once you have 25. As you have that set, they won't trade no more and won't use it?
Not 100% but try that.
@@GamersHeroes Thank you for the quick response 😃. Yes, I've changed the surplus but they just don't seem to want the goods. My thinking was the same as yours. That if I have it set to 25, trading would happen untill I have the 25 asked for. Then someone would come and pick up the 25 emptying the Trade House and then it would keep trading to keep 25 "in the bank" at all times as set with the minimum surplus. But instead the 25 are just stuck in the Trade House inventory and no one clears it out for use and so no further resources of that type are brought in. Occasionally 1 or 2 might be taken out but it's rare and not effective as you need quite a bit of resources to keep the machinery going. Instead it just pot-shots one every now and then and the people yell at me because they can't get hammered in the evening! 😆
Im having the exact same problem. My taverns kept running out of ale. So I setup and import of surplus 50. Now the ale just sits in the trading post and the taverns never actually use it... did you manage to fix it?
@@peterg1234 Unfortunately the only way I've managed to fix it was by setting up big low yield fields of Barley. The region I'm in sucks for farming but 12x 0.3 morgan size fields yields just enough to last me the year by running 6 fields each year while fallowing the other six.
I couldn't get the AI to pick it up from the Trade house so I sold it all again and went at it by force basically 😜
im confused, im exporting and i have around 1k+ planks as current surplus and i set the desired surplus of 300, does this mean that i am exporting 300 planks? or the difference of 1k-300 planks which is around 700
It means you are not a true Manor Lord the briggins will burn down your settlement you are just a peasant
Can you trade between your own cities?????
I bought it yesterday
Yeah but i try to import food but cant like no food appears, my hunters dont wanna hunt during winter season for some reason and im always starving during winter. ive had to restart 2 times
Hunters will stop hunting animals when the herd reaches a certain size to avoid wiping them out. If you're struggling for food, make sure your Burgage plots are big enough and use Chicken & Vegetable upgrades.
You start with enough cash for 2x Chicken upgrades, that should be enough to survive the first couple of seasons alongside meat/berries.
@@GamersHeroes ty I figured out food now, should be fine sailing now
My game says my trade rule is set to "no trade" how do i change that?
buy a route then click no trade and change it
@@transonic_cow how do you buy a route?
@@forrestallison1879there will be a button on the far right of what ever you want to trade but it will cost money
@@forrestallison1879 Click the little cart on the right side of the screen, like a silvery icon next to the cost of the route. But be careful, they can be quite expensive if you don't have the development point in trade logistics.
That’s what mine says I did pay for a route but it still says it
How do I get iron ore transported to the trading post
Families assigned to the trading post or to storage should transport trading resources to the outpost
My families aren't moving the leather to the trade post I've got 100 surplus now@@GamersHeroes
how to solve this rout require?
I have zero wealth and can't do anything you say, I can't even establish a trade route. 🙁
You need to export low value items that don't require a trade route. Trade routes just make it quicker/easier to sell.
The higher value items, weapons etc, require trade routes to start. Low quality items, such as firewood, don't require a trade route
@@GamersHeroes do you have to have a horse are a mule to export goods? If you do, I have no money to buy one. When I go to the trade icons they are all grayed out and won't let me choose what to trade. 🤷
@@SineMacula You don't need a horse but you will need a family assigned to the building. Can you show me a screenshot? The text shouldn't be grayed out
@@GamersHeroes a massage popped up saying, Desired surplus. Locked because the trade rule is set to no trade.
