Thank you, great tips and very informative. I finally got around to getting my own PC (work laptop locked down can't install anything) and this was the first and apart from Thor my only add-ins I have installed for PP. I really love BrightSlide a great time saving tool in PP.

I installed brightslides, turns out that the "Legacy Tools" are no longer part of BrightSlides, Alas! Any chance the older version can ben made available?
You can also accomplish the same text to outline effect by using merge shapes - play around w the 4 or so options you get there laying a text box on top of a shape - fragment is probably the one you want. th-cam.com/video/5Kx_xo485J8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=spUl743OQt08BtUn
Download it anyway (my company doesn’t allow add-ins either). It’ll seem like you can’t install it but once you download it and close ppt and open it again the brightslide tab should appear. If that still doesn’t work you should ask your IT dept uf they can install it for you.

I am using company laptop and it doesn't have bright side in it.. and we are not allowed to download anything in office lappy
What should I do??
