@@HVACTIME Dear hvac expert from long time i am watching your following to you.I am from pakistan.i am facing one problem in my yciv chiller.this chiller have to to systems.chiller was running normal but i recive complaints chiller trip both system same time trip due to low suction alarms. We changes steppers controller and new mother board.water flow also also ok in cooler suction tranduser also replaced.Share your advice.thanks for repling.
I know this is an older video but i need help. You have the most comprehensive videos on the Trane Chillers. Could you please put out a video or even a "short" on how to switch between pumps for like doing PM's
During unloading or on startup what should the oil pressure be on a rtaa and rtud? And during normal operation while it's maintaining what should the oil pressures be.
We are getting 2 new trane chillers with screws next summer, long waiting list, going to be a hot summer at this school this year. But my question is, is there any classes you know of I can attend to learn up on these screw compressors? I've never worked on one and would really love to become more familiar. I doubt trane offers anything, they don't want us to learn their equipment, main reason why I hate trane, there's other reasons though of course
So i have a bad compressor on one of these chillers. I have no room for a fork lift and have no clue how to get the old one out and new one in.You got any ideas?
You cannot plug into a trane system without the software. Tech View for any Dynaview systems and Tracer TU for any UC or Symbio systems. But the licenses need to be purchased for the software.
Trane chiller showing no data communication after resetting the system come up but only one compressor runs while the second refuse to run and keep showing high pressure cut out and the system goes down after 10min showing no data communication what can be the problem
Was reading through the RTAA IOM to study this further and noticed it says. “The female unloader valve is the first stage of loading after the compressor starts and the last stage of unloading before the compressor shuts down.” Appreciate your videos, I don’t know about any other channels that make quality large tonnage HVAC videos like yours. I mostly work on under 100 tons so I’ll dabble with this equipment occasionally. It’s good to be able to see the equipment to supplement the studying I’m doing in manuals and other resources.
Looks like I found the other answer in the manual. Kind of odd that energizing the unloader valves loads the compressor and vice versa. You would think it should be called a female loader valve. “The female unloader valve solenoid receives a constant signal from the UCM, based on system cooling requirements. To load the compressor, the female unloader valve solenoid is energized and discharge pressure is passed through the normally-closed port and into the cylinder. This pushes the female unloader valve closed. To unload the compressor, the female unloader valve solenoid is de-energized and the discharge pressure is relieved to the suction of the compressor. The female unloader valve retracts into the cylinder and the compressor is unloaded.”
In my job location i have facing on problem with chiller of yciv 2 system model.chiller was in normal operations but now a day's chiller going low suction trip same time both system going low suction trip.i changed stepper controller and motherboard also with new one but same issue.after start both systems of chiller goes low suction trip.need help to rectify
Great Video and explanation. You’re my TH-cam chiller icon lol😂
Great video your a legend learning more and more every time you post thank you 🙌🏻
You’re an Hvac legend
Excellent job 👍👍👍
Thx for this video!
Thanks bro
Really thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Learned something new, great video.
We deal with American Hermetics pretty often out of Tennessee. Agreed they are awesome to deal with.
Good people

Love the explanation!
Great Video. Thank you for sharing
awesome video brother
Excelente.... saludos desde Venezuela

You can get direct support in the chiller community when enrolled at chilleracademy.com.
THANK YOU🎉
Great video

Most R series chillers run at 35psid on the oil system for proper oil flow. Trip point at 50psid
Sweet, man.

Trane offers classes through Trane University.

I've always used skid plates and rigging equipment with a gantry
Please need your all video with English subtitles.
Do you work for Trane? Just wondering how you would plug into there newer chillers without the proprietary software?
I have the software license. I don't work for Trane though.
You don’t need proprietary software for Trane nor a license

I like to use my amp clamp on solenoids to check .
At 3:20 you said that during shut down the female unloader is deenergized. Is that correct? Or is the female unloader energized?
Noticed that you repeated it at 3:42 and 3:51 but at the start you said the unloader was energized. Seems like you mixed up the words?
Was reading through the RTAA IOM to study this further and noticed it says. “The female unloader valve is the first stage of loading after the compressor starts and the last stage of unloading before the compressor shuts down.”

Yes the female unloader gets denergize as a final step before shutdown. So when loading starts it gets energized and stays energized until shutdown.
Tried the app says it's for older android :/
Thats weird, there should be a current version
So many words in 6 minutes
Yea only 6 min. I repeat the video 1 H.
🤯lol 👍😅
