Interesting. 100yds isn't too far and a lot of competitive shooters will shoot this distance in a match. Now when it gets +150 things seem to get wonky. I've seen guys test various ammos and get a result thinking it is set in stone how that will perform there after only to go back and see something completely different with the same ammo. You don't see videos on youtube of anyone really shooting longer distance with any one brand or lot getting a result posting it and then going back on 2 or more different occasions and being able to repeat it. I don't know if this the limitations of the ammo or the rifle or shooter or all three. All I do know is things get wonky.

It is more interesting at 150 for sure. Duplicate videos typically get few responses so some of the lack of verification is media driven.

@@drpietrzak yea that is valid point I didn't consider and since people make videos to be seen not just to prove points views do matter. I myself don't get into longer range rimfire, I just don't have a need for it. Some of the guys at the range do and from talking to them they can't get the longer stuff to duplicate. I asked is that why the hype around NRL and 22 rimfire matches a few yrs ago going long range soon all kinda fizzled out? I don't think anyone would be able to score decently and interest would drop fast if the majority was only hitting 50ish % and that's the better shooters. Average guys would much less.

@RimfireAddicted70 I usually do several on a topic, like 100-yards. I have several 100-yard videos with my CZ457MTR but only the one with the 1761.
