The only problem I found about this video is that it ends! Hahaha, honestly, I would listen to you for hours! I'm studying for being a midwife and you motivate me to keep pushing. Thank you so much 💖
Helloo!! I am a year 11 student who thinks they want to be a midwife but is not completely sure yet haha. Your videos really help my to see if it is right for me. Thank you for that and all the work you do! :)
The starting salary being 25k is definitely not bad especially when living with a working partner so bills are split, london may be expensive to live but for manchester that is looking like a tasty start 🤣🤣
i really want to pursue a career in midwifery because I love medicine and empowering women and find birth very interesting and the female body. But i feel dissuaded because of the nhs falling apart. To study for so long and become highly skilled and not receive the adequate pay we deserve is heartbreaking. I still think I would want to do it as I feel like I find meaning through being passionate about work but I could make more money continuing my 9 to 5 and that bothers me. ..
Hi, I'm 18 y/o and incoming college student next year. I started watching your videos since last week. and it's great because i've gain a lot of information. And I just wanna ask if I'm going to take the midwifery course, is it okay if I'm not good in mathematics? Some of my friends said that if I'm going to take the bsm I need to be good in math 😅 (but I'm suck in mathematics, not so suck😅)
Hi, I love your videos. Do you need to be a registered nurse midwife to work with home births and at birthing centers? I really want to pursue a midwife career but I don’t want to work in a hospital setting as a nurse
All of the reason why you are a midwife is why I wanted to become a midwife, I also really love working with pregnant women and babies... I've birthed 2 kids and my 2nd experience the midwives were terrible.... I want to create a better environment for women I'd prefer to work at birthing centers and doing homebirths, but i can't stand people's bodily fluids 🥲🥲 idk how to cross that part.

Atleast after preceptorship salary increases
@@dorothykoko9473 hi, what is preceptorship
13:9 true, I’ve also heard that even one mistake eg. medication can cause a big impact on the woman and baby.
Thank you for sharing these pros and cons of midwifery!
🙌🏾💕

Hey, no you don’t need to be a registered nurse to work as a home birth midwife. I’m not a registered nurse and I can work anywhere as a midwife x
I look up to you I hope one day I can be like you 🥺🥺❤️❤️😚
Awww☺️❤️❤️
Do you have to have super high grades in highschool?
No you don’t x
I am thinking of becoming a midwife but I'd rather assist with home birth.
You can go into home birth after qualifying x
Heyy question:
When delivering babies does it have a horrific smell, a smell u can handle or no smell at all???
It’s a smell you can handle x
Hi Nadine I follow you on TH-cam. Do you have a best school?
Hey, no there’s no best school. Any school will do x
@@NadineNayySorry I want to say do you know any school? Like yours. I see you know what You're talking about 👏👏👏 you're so confident about.
