It's great to see a FL who though she clearly has feelings for the ML, tells him that he dragged her to the Abyss and she can't go back to him. Even though he stood there all pathetic and held his hand up (as if he was a Boy Scout making a promise) promising that he wouldn't be like that again. Head held high she walked away. It was the ending I was hoping for and I got.
One of the better dramas I have seen. As usual in these dramas the FL is terribly abused and unjustly resented. The acting is good for dramas sake, although I personally didnt feel a romantic relationship with any of the couples. It has a good mystery man, but I kinda suspected it was, who it was. Would have liked to have seen what happened with a few other characters in the drama, but we do get to see the wanna be mistress get her due. And it has a very satisfactory ending. Think you will like watching this one for the ending!

ML's viciousness was mainly based on his belief that FL's father caused the death of his father (as the wicked woman confessed the truth at end of drama), so ML holds onto this grudge against FL. And as to why ML acted caring for FL at times, the ML shows us the answer when after the FL has escaped and ML said this about FL: "Now, I see it, I love you." So, ML acts hateful all through his marriage with FL, but when she was gone, he "realized" that he actually loves her in his heart! But even this was the case, this ML was insane to even imagine that he could regain FL's love towards him after all horrendous cruelty he had done to her~ including forcing FL to drink abortion drug, harming her parents, letting the wicked woman get away with attempts of murder of FL and hitting FL's back out of his jealousy......... And the story writers have the audacity to make this ML say this to the maid after FL was gone: "So, did I really did the wrong things to her?" ML never repented from his wrong doings, for he didn't even know what wrongs he had done! This story was so badly written, very upsetting to watch! ML's character is too calloused and stupid to be believable!! Only good thing was FL told him to get lost at the end!
