I'm having an issue where it lets me go live for maybe 5 seconds before automatically ending the live and saying I'm suspended for a minute. Any suggestions? I've met both age and follower requirements and I haven't violated any terms.
This glitch seems to be happening to many users right now and unfortunately we don't have a solution to offer. Hopefully TikTok will get this issue sorted out soon!

You also have to be 18 or older, so if you don't meet the age requirement you won't have the option. If you meet all the requirements and still don't see the option, try logging out of the app and signing back in.
That's bullshit man! Why is it soooo important to have 1000 followers to be able to go live on tik tok!? See, I love people. People only care for themseleves and it makes me angry. (smh) 😤.

The age has been changed to 18 as of 2022.
This video does not cover TikTok live for PC whatsoever, which is where I am having issues, Live works fine for me on my android app.

This didn’t answer my issue. When i try to go live a message pops up saying “couldnt go live now. Try again later”

I’ve seen people go live with less than 300 followers so that doesn’t make sense to need 1000
That must be a glitch, the feature is only available to those with 1000+ followers.
@@techlifeunity the people I’ve seen live are Japanese so I’m not sure if it’s different for them or if there’s some other rule for joining lives

Subscribers and followers are different things on TikTok
The follower thing is wrong I have 604 and I can go live
TikTok has changed the rules since we published this video! You no longer need 1000 followers.
