I also had a notification for 10 minute videos but don't see the actual option to record that length. Sometimes I wish they'd stop split testing features so we'd all have the same ones at the same time!! There's also a shopping cart now. It's being used in other country's and is going to be tested soon with a select few influencers in the US. I passed it up.. but stories would be awesome!!
The Stories feature is still being rolled out to all users. To ensure you get it as soon as it's available to you, make sure you keep your TikTok app updated.
You can try third-party TikTok downloaders to get your video without the watermark, but if you download directly from TikTok it will always have the watermark on it. There is currently no option to post a story as a permanent video, so you would need to download it and repost it.
@@770azr I think the way I did it is look for the video in the Gallery of your phone and worked from there. I don't remember the details now sorry. The important part is when creating the video clip to click on "Post" and not to story.
They seem to have change how to access them if anyone still search. Inside the the profile page it is necessary to tap on the profile picture to see the stories.
You can delete a story the same as you do with other TikTok videos. Open the story/video, tap the three dots on the right, then tap Delete in the menu at the bottom. Hope that helps!
@@techlifeunity All my drafts would be gone, but I can still post things on my story but not from my drafts anymore I think it's because of the new update.
You can also create stories with the regular camera, just select Post to Story instead of posting it as a normal TikTok video. If you don't have this option, make sure your app is updated to the newest version, or try logging out and back in, or delete the app and re-install.

Make sure you keep your app updated, and you can also try logging out and logging back in to see if new features pop up!

You can still post stories using the regular camera.
I wish they had a function for asking followers questions on stories. Apparently this feature only works posting as a normal TikTok
Hopefully they'll add more options to Stories as the feature gains popularity!

You would need to download the story and then re-upload it as a regular TikTok post. There's currently no way to switch the post type.

Stories only last for 24 hours. If you want something more permanent, post it as a regular TikTok rather than a story
