I started making amt and italeri model trucks back in my early years, it frustrated me back then that I couldn’t get hold of things like coloured paint outside the basic range and buying the tools I really wanted without the internet. I loved building them, it is was a passion for me to create what I could back then. I’ve just started doing them again having time for a hobby now, it’s took me a little while to dust off the cobwebs but the passion is unbelievable again, the colours available, the tools are easy to get and I’ve done a couple now although I’ve got three on the go at the same time lol I love building them simple as that really.... only I don’t make them the same as the kit allows, I’ve just finished the Scania 141 6x2 dropside and drawbar trailer, it looked plain so I fitted the hydraulic crane to the rear of the truck from the accessory kit, changed the height so both bodies on truck and trailer were the same changed all the wheel guards, the exhaust so it looks like it could have eight cylinders coming through the pipe, the colours, lots of little bits that make it look personal to the driver and what the truck does in it’s working life. I’m not being critical or anything like that... you have a great eye for details and you build an amazing piece.... and I gotta say now I’ve seen you use the clips to hold pieces for paint I’m gonna use your idea... I just wanna say I think there’s a lot of people out there that can make a kit, it’s only for the colours or a few more lights that don’t make them all the same to see? At the moment one of my builds is an amt freightliner, I wanted to make it a ridged with a drawbar box but a long haul looking truck so I wanted a big cab... now it’s a double sleeper 8x4 with a rear steer, low profile tyres etc etc.... think 1970’s American truck bought to the future with a European setup. I want the look and stance but also to add to the person’s imagination when seen....?
That grey/orange combination is splendid! Well done!👍

awesome looking build very cool
Мне не понравилась сборка. Нет схожести с оригиналом. И слишком много визуальных косяков
