This is a blessing to see. Jeff is a blessing to me (always have been), and Pastor Steve is a greater preacher. He might not believe this, but some of the things he said, even outside of preaching - there were times where I just heard him haphazardly speaking to someone behind me - that was so rich with practical wisdom, that I’m still helped by it today.

Can't help but point out you've got a former Cornerstone deacon who now goes to a nearby Presbyterian church on a Cornerstone podcast re: Xian Liberty. One area of liberty not mentioned is WHERE you go to church. Unfortunately I've been part of churches where there is something approaching cult-like persecution if you decide this church is no longer a good fit for you. Even though I disagree with a good bit of the info on this podcast (not this episode), I was thankful to see you two having this discussion.

    Abandonment of self
“But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭12‬
1 Corinthians 9 is a chapter that should not be read separate from 8. For it is the emptying of self of its rights, letting go of our rights and claims that in knowledge we know we have, for the sake of love. We may have rights or claims to things but if we,in our freedom, place ourselves as a stumbling block to others or neglect their discipleship for the holding onto our own rights, I think we have gone of course from the one we follow. For Isn’t this exactly what our savior did for us? Emptied himself of self, leaving behind his rights and freedoms, for the sake of bringing the weaker to the Father. He placed love over his rights. How can my mindset be any different than what Christ laid out by example? The draw to please self is strong and ever present, but help me Lord to operate from the discipline of self control and seek to run the race that you have laid out for me. Let me feel the burn and strain of self abandonment and exercise my love in doing so. Self control is a fruit of the Spirt and is not merely limited to the amount we indulge but that we would indulge in something at all if it would cause a brother to stumble or even hinder him from entering into a discipling community group.
We live in an age where alcohol has dug its claws into many in our community. Many of which have now put aside alcohol from their walk with God because it was once a refuge for them before Christ and they will not go back to old idols as tempting as they are. In love, let us build them up rather than puff up our own position. If our gatherings hinders another from joining us, we may want to consider setting aside our rights for the love of another.

Approved abortion in France with massive celebration by the people.
    An absurd!
They will pay very expensive with blood, pain and suffering in the exact proportion.
"Eye by eye, tooth by tooth" (Old Testament).
This law was not repealed, only Jesus disauthorized man to practice it because only God knows all the intricacies of life at all frequencies and can do so with full justice.
A lot of carnage, pain and suffering is being planted by the human being who has full knowledge of the evil that is practicing because the divine laws are engraved in our consciences and the sacred songs, of all peoples, are mere reminders.
There was a lot of party and celebration throughout France.
"My body (which is not yours), my laws (which are not yours)."
Law of "Cause and Effect", "Action and Reaction" or Universal Parity, as you want.
    No one escapes.
