Hello Dan, my phonostage tube are use Raytheon 5755 tube , which are double triode same with 12AX7 but difference in pin, and TFK ECC801s as output. This have high output gain about over 40db , as recommended for phonostage. Some phonostage are use op amp. I am prefer and absolutely with the tubes.
