Excellent work, John. I plan on refinishing some Tukans for my son in a Fender guitar color, eg Candy Apple Red or Sunburst. I’m actually surprised it took Linn so long to offer custom paint finishes. I could refinish my 1990’s Black Ash in a different finish too
My linn is of 85 vintage.. walnut…it’s survived many house moves and still looks and more I potentially sounds fabulous.. very few mods … I like the more classic vintage linn sound … it was and is one of my life’s best investments and will always be the absolute key stone in my set up … all else is built around it … Whenever I’ve had the chance to upgrade other components the linn always rises to the occasion …. All for back in the day £550 or there abouts … 👍

This is a rabbit hole. Go for a €1000 TT, with a good cartridge and phono preamp, and can take the best there is! But REALLY?
