I'm from West Africa but not from South Africa, and I don't understand the language, however, I do love when South Africans throw in some words in their beautiful language whenever they're speaking English. A sign of pride for their traditional and cultural heritage. Julius Malema is the first person from whom I discovered this trait about the South Africans. Colonialists and Imperialists languages shouldn't have been made our official language all across Africa in the first place

Thank you for the information shared. I just completed my TEFL certification and I’m interested in moving to China, yes I have a lot to do (intro vid, doc process). I just wanna have a clarity, I don’t have a teaching degree but working towards a masters degree, not in teaching. So with Totally teach, will I be classified as a tier one or three. Thank you.

I just wish China schools start offering benefits such as paying for the teachers airfare like the schools do in the middle east becos wow its quite expensive 😢
I heard they do reimburse... you just need to play your part, too.
Some do but the pay is crap and they deduct it from your salary

my documents are at the DIRCO TOO
I would say start applying now, because the interview process and visa stuff does take a bit of time. And you’d rather secure the job now and get assistance from your employer, especially with reimbursement

They are legit and they have helped people get jobs. Just make sure you ask them questions about how they will support your relocation and reimbursements

Are we allowed to have part time jobs (weekend jobs) while working as foreign teachers in China? I would like to know if it’s within the law. ❤❤❤
no that's illegal don't ever work anywhere that's not your school which provided you with the work visa
@@victoriashulman3680 can I ask my school for permission if the contract says so? It says that I need to disclose with the school and ensure it doesn’t affect work hours. What about online teaching jobs?
@@nkululekomabaso1629 go ahead and consult your manager, but chinese law is strict and if you get caught teacing anywhere except your school, you'll be fined a minimum of 5000 rmb, get chinese criminal record, which makes it REALLY difficult to land a job in the future. so i would advise sticking to your job + ask them if you could do some extra work for extra pay, this is the safest option

I complained on Twitter that my documents are ready but I haven’t gotta any offers and someone offered to help. Lol I sent them a DM they asked me to text them on WhatsApp. I did, did they not ask for money???😂😂😂 I just deleted their number
