You know what Mumei… that’s an absolute fair analysis of my fact (sound can travel through space). Let’s see if I can try to explain it a little in a similar way a profesor of mine did.
Firstly, the reason why sound travels on Earth is because it propagates through all of the molecules that air is comprised of. Now let’s say you clap your hands, what happens? Energy is released. This energy takes different forms, one of them being what we call sound and it is basically the molecules vibrating at some some frequency we can hear.
Space however doesn’t have molecules as compact and close together as on earth, BUT they are still there. It is by no means completely empty. Now let’s say that some planet/asteroid/etc decides to do the chimichanga in the middle of its orbit. By doing so it is also releasing energy. By the conservation of energy this energy has to go somewhere. Thus it starts propagating through space. However, as mentioned before, it has significantly lower amounts of molecules to travel through and because of that it takes a longer amount of time to dissipate that energy. Therefore, it travels at a super low frequency that our ears can’t hear and we have to rely on tools in order to detect.
    So TL;DR:
No sound as something we can hear with our ears can’t but “sound” as energy can…… if that made any sense

This was such a nice and comfy stream, thank you MumersI especially liked that it was sort of like the old-style show&tell ASMR (which I prefer over the clicky/repeated wordy/sound triggery type), only with knowledge instead of objectsYou have a lovely voice for speaking (and giggling) as well as singing, and I definitely care about you doing this style of ASMR! Like I said, I don't really get along with the more modern style, but this style I really like and especially when it's coming from youSo yeah, if you do decide to get a dedicated ASMR mic, I'm definitely on board, and even if you don't I'd love more just with this mic! Thanks again; I hope you have a good day Mumei, and enjoy your KFP🤎
P.S. You could try getting a memory foam mattress topper or something to save you poor back without having to go through the ordeal of getting rid of your current one and going to try out new ones in a store and all thatJust an idea

This was a fun idea for a stream, roleplay and different audio triggers make for nice ASMR, but speaking softly about anything at all makes for pleasant listening.
More fun facts about muscles for anyone curious:
The primary function of muscles is to contract. Muscles also passively generate heat while contracting which is useful for living organisms. Muscles are important in maintaining homeostasis (homeo = same, stasis = stable, aka the normal, stable state of the body).
Cardiac muscles are specialized muscles in the heart. The heart pumps blood, which carry oxygen, nutrients, wastes, and other things, throughout the body. This transportation system is necessary for other organs to function and maintain homeostasis. The heart never stops pumping throughout a person's lifetime.
Smooth muscles operate involuntarily. They line tubes like arteries, veins, and the digestive track, as well as different organs. Smooth muscles allow automatic regulation of things like the pressure in those tubes. Peristalsis is the rhythmic tube contraction that pushes food and waste down the digestive track. The diaphragm is a large flat muscle below the lungs. When it contracts, it increases the volume of the chest cavity, which lowers the air pressure in the lungs relative to the atmosphere, which draws air inwards. The diaphragm is made up of both smooth and skeletal muscle fibers.
Skeletal muscles help achieve homeostasis by powering movement: an organism can move to a new food souce, an organism can hunt that new food source, etc. When people hear the word 'muscle', they generally think of skeletal muscles like biceps and triceps of the arm, hamstrings in the leg, etc.
In healthcare there are the ABC's: Airway, Breathing, Circulation. When the condition of someone in the hospital is deteriorating and the exact cause is yet unknown, checking those 3 things in order is a good start, because those things can cause lasting damage the fastest. Is the airway clear of obstructions? Can the person take in air by themselves? Can the heart pump and blood circulate and bring that air to where it needs to go?
'Opioids' are a class of medication used for pain relief. They were derived from the opium poppy plant. Morphine, derived from that plant, is commonly prescribed in hospitals for severe pain relief. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is about 100x stronger than morphine and is used in hospitals for emergencies. Both morphine and fentanyl are heavily regulated and monitored. The illegal drug heroin is also an opioid, about 5x stronger than morphine. Opioids reduce pain, but also slow down other body functions: the smooth muscle actions in the diaphragm and colon slow down. Too much of this class of drug and the person might stop breathing or have severe constipation.
A person can indefinitely live (or be forcibly kept alive) without their body being capable of certain functions, as long as the results needed can be achieved otherwise. Kidneys are important because they filter waste from the blood and manage fluid balance. A person with poor kidney function can live by using a dialysis machine to filter their blood, but the process takes about 4 hours, and they have to go 3 times a week, for the rest of their life. Ventilators can force air into the lungs if someone can't breathe effectively on their own. Most skeletal muscles aren't necessarily to 'live', in the absolute minimal definition of the word. The locomotion of the legs and utility of the arms aid homeostasis in a macro sense, but are less important than other organs in keeping an organism alive.
    Optional meat is the tastiest.

Thank you! A lot of very interesting facts... specially the ones at the beginning. About the ASMR mic, it's probably better to go for a cheaper option since you won't use it as extensive as Fauna does. I think i talk for everyone when i say we love your whispering and giggles
