About Pasilyo:
When asked what's the song about for The Manila Times, Dan (lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and songwriter) replied, "Almost everyone dreamed of being a bride or a groom one day. That endearing feeling of being someone's 'sure thing' in this world full of uncertainties."
In an interview on MYXclusive, Bino (lead vocalist, acoustic guitarist, songwriter) shares that he wrote the song way back in January 2020. He's been writing songs way since he was 9 years old, basing them on his experiences. For Pasilyo, Bino dreamed of being wed for 3 consecutive nights; he didn't know the identity of the figure he's being wed to since the face was blurred. He then thought, "Why not write a wedding song?"
According to Bino, Pasilyo is a song from the POV of a groom as the bride walks down the aisle towards him.
When asked what they think made the song deeply resonate with listeners, Laura (lead singer and backup vocalist) answers that it makes you want to fall in love even if you're not in a relationship - like when people watch movies or read to romanticize life.
The band confirms that an MV for Pasilyo will be released in the future.
