So what I understand from this is, baddie core is a genre, which attracts people with untreated personality disorders? That would explain a lot about myself..
Baddiecore sounds less like a genre and more like an umbrella term. What I mean is that anything with a simple feature would be allowed to be called it regardless of the genre. Similar to shock rock being only about the performance, or arena rock being about the epic sound when played in an arena, these aren't genres so much as just being terms to describe a feature of the band's aesthetic. I would include nu metal as an umbrella term, along with groove metal and maybe djent. Not all bands of these gernes sound enough alike to say they relate to each other besides having a rapper, playing on an 8 string, or emphasizing unique rhythm. Korn and Slipknot sounds nothing alike, Periphery and Meshuggah are technically metalcore vs post-thrash, and Pantera and Soulfly have very different overall styles.
There is an ancient as fuck MTV episode of god knows what where they interviewed female exotic dancers on what their favorite music to pole dance to was. I have a very distinct memory of one of them saying Deftones. This was around 2000/2002 because I remember being in elementary/middle school in Italy and definitely not supposed to be watching that.
