      @@HARTTools Thanks for watching! It had a lot of features that I appreciated like the metal drawer slides, the drawer dividers, and the cushioned grip on the handle. It's those type of details that show there was some thought put into the design of the product to improve it's usability.

    Why are there no reviews on the other 3 Hart tool boxes? And only 4 videos of reviews on this particular drawer box? I just ordered the “tool box” and “half stack organizers” on Walmart app as a bundle. Noticed they weren’t in store and tags says online purchase only.

      The new one is nice and looks to be a little bigger and has a different style top with little inset trays for parts. I’m sorry I don’t remember the price i think it was like $99

    I know this doesn't have anything to do with this video, but I'm alittle curious. I've been looking at buying a 1/2-in impact and I was looking at the Kobalt XTR and noticed it looked like a clone of the FLEX. I know there both manufactured by Chervon, and I was wondering if the XTR could possibly be a re-branded FLEX for less. Any thoughts?
    I'm also new to the tool community so any input would be greatly appreciated and helpful! Thank you!

    • @nachocheez9
      @nachocheez9 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      XTR came out before Flex ever released new tools. If I recall correctly the Flex beat it on the torque test channel. So they aren't the same tool, just made by the same company.

    • @nachocheez9
      @nachocheez9 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd recommend seeing what's coming with DeWalt. They just added their new compact impact wrenches that seem to be beasts. Only a matter of time before they release replacements for their larger impact wrenches since they've been around a while and DeWalt seems to be hitting a stride with new releases.

    • @jacoblandes6294
      @jacoblandes6294 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nachocheez9 Thanks for the info! Again I'm rather new into tools so the feedback is extremely appreciated! I'll definitely look into what Dewalt has got lined up.

    • @nachocheez9
      @nachocheez9 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jacoblandes6294 depending on what you're doing, I'd look into a mid-torque model. Something more compact but still has plenty of power to do most work. Fits in more places. I use my mid torque a lot, but I might snag the new baby 1/2 inch and use that primarily because it's so small but has similar tightening torque and like 70% of the breakaway torque in a much, much smaller tool. Interested in seeing how their new mid torque and high torque models will turn out, whenever they release.

    It’s obviously not as good as Milwaukee’s Packout, but for the DIY/home owner, the price, and options are great. I have the Packout system, but I also have a few Hart storage boxes, and the quality is pretty good. The only downfall for the drawers is, a full size drill will NOT fit. Maybe the Milwaukee M12 drills, and drivers will fit, but a 3/8” M12 fuel impact won’t. I still might pick these up for other tools, but I’ll get the Packout drawers for tools.

      I'm sitting here looking back and forth between the Bauer stuff on the screen and a DeWalt T-Stak "suitcase" box that just happens to be sitting on my bench. From what I can see, the locking system looks VERY similar. I might have to pick one up when they hit the stores just to find out if they match up.

In the summertime in the desert, these types of boxes are marginal. These black plastic boxes will sag-twist-distort and become unusable for 5 months during the year in Phx-LV area.
