What is a good beginners state?

I would say it depends on what you want to buy? If you want high interest liens, I'd probably recommend Florida or Arizona, whichever you are more familiar with. You have a lot of OTC liens to choose from in those states, and they are high interest. If you want land that you can buy quickly, Arkansas has a nice supply with a zero redemption period. If you want houses to rent, Alabama or Indiana would be my suggestions. Happy to discuss further, just let me know!
