Nice video and easy to follow explanation. Could I replace the movie in the template you used with one of my own clips? And how easy/difficult is this to do ? Thanks for sharing.
Good morning. Absolutely, here is a link to my latest video it should give you all the info you need. th-cam.com/video/vbsZF4_Xa3A/w-d-xo.html Enjoy your day. Harvey.
Just discovered your channel. I’m really liking it so far. I feel that it comes at a really good time whenPower Director has significantly changed their interface. I was unable to find where buttons are and pathways. I’ve been using in the past. So your new tutorials on where to find things in the new interface are particularly helpful to me right now. Thank you so much.
This is the second time i watched this. Recently I did a memorial video and wanted to add a vignette. I couldn't find an fx for it. So I made one with mask designer and feathering. Now I see from your tut that I could have gone into ColorDirector and would have found it there. At least I know for futures.
Hey...I thought about trying to send you an email but I was not sure if that would be the way to go. I have something different and I just picked your latest tutorial video to pose the question for you. Is it possible to subtract out a subject (object) and produce a B-Roll type piece of just the object? What I want to do is a closeup flyby with a drone in 4K high speed and pull out just the drone in slow motion going by the camera with the background subtracted out. Then use that B-Roll from my library to overlay over something else.....like an into or a transition. Is it possible? Footnote: And then the VERY NEXT THING THAT HAPPENED was that I spotted you video on GREEN SCREENING using Color Director. Watching it now....
Use a custom mask and mask out the subject, then let it motionmask the vid and go back and fix each keyframe. Very time consuming. If it's just a drone I would just mask out the drone once take a snapshot and then move it in and out of my clip using size and rotation keyframes a lot easier and you could blend the snapshot so that it would look more natural.
Hello Ken. If you use the Video Intro Designer then at the bottom left side you can save as a template. However if you are editing on the timeline then that option is unavailable. Hope this helps.
Harvey I need to ask you a question. You mentioned apply to all.. I also have been messing around with my colors and adjustments. I wonder if apply to all means all of the clips in your timeline or just the ones that you highlight.. What do you think buddy ?
@@pmhelsinki thanks Harvey I know my eyes are very bad. But it seemed like when I did apply to all it applied them to all the clips in the whole video but I could be wrong
Hello Keith. You are absolutely right, my bad. If you have several transitions then yes apply to all does all of them, however if you want to have the transitions cross two video clips, then they have to be done individually.
I feel they are trying to make it like windows once was with the windows phone. PowerDirector mobile and windows version looking the same. Nooo! Mobile should stay just that.... mobile.
Nice! thank you .
I'm going to sit back video right now I'll be getting back to you shortly

I HATE the new PD... it has zero advantages to the July version and at least 30 things that are WORST.
