In my 20s, I‘ve gotten lonely with Uni friends moving away, distancing myself from late friends, being inside on lockdown etc. It‘s hard for me to bring up enough energy to meet and get to know new people. I do love my quiet times and have learned to be with myself ever since my teens but seeing friends hang out and spend time together does make me envious from time to time. Sorry if I sound obnoxious, but what helped me is knowing hanging out with God makes me feel less lonely ❤ Also He provided me with 3 best friends in my sophomore year of college coming from a girl who had absolutely no friends until then. Everyday is a huge step forwards 🎉 and I’m happy you’re still here with us
What helps me is when I’m at uni being open to new experiences and for things to happen if I’m waiting in line for something be off of my phone and just observe my environment be in the moment. In class try to talk to folks around me whether it’s class assignments or maybe a relatable thing or plan a study sess with folks on campus Stay off of connecting online and try to find opportunities in person to connect with someone
