And for all the guys out there wondering if I'm going to get back to the big impoundment project, I have not given up on it. Just have had other priorities in life especially since we moved to a farm in 2020 and I started my own business in 2023. Trying to get things set up so within a few years I can really get back after it. In the meantime, I'm looking at another pond project at home on the farm. Will keep you posted. @@dylanlarose9171 you really want to get good compaction all the way through otherwise high risk of leaks. Water is way tougher to control than you think.

I'm uneducated in these things, but why cant you add more material upstream and downstream of the leak?

But leaking slowly is good and natural
