- Hello and Welcome to The Passenger Seat Podcast, a podcast designed to fill your passenger seat with chat about classic cars, usually all recorded from my 1968 Morris Minor, Peggy.
This upload is a special bonus video featuring the complete timelapse of removing the original engine and fitting the reaplacement engine the first time. Peggy is a 1968 Morris Minor who has a 5 speed conversion kit fitted. It was not a kit I fitted - she came with it. Thus this posed some confusion and challenges when fitting the new replacement engine.

Thanks for sharing Becca 👍
I never knew Peggy was a 5-speed! In those days, it was more common to have overdrive as your 5th.
It's a type 9 ford gear box, so a later retro fit, but it's great for long journeys cruising 😊
Brilliant 👍
It's quite fun to watch isn't it? 😂
Just found your site - looks like fun! How much do you yourself do with the engine - have you learned to hand crank it yet?
Fun is certainly one word for it! Was quite a stressful week 😂 I try to get as hands on as I can, but still learning lots and the body restoration the car is undergoing at the moment is being done by a professional
@@passengerseatpodcast I used to have one your car's age so ask me if there are anythings puzzling. So can you crank it - its useful for all sorts of things Not just a flat battery!
