Good to hear the "back-story", for want of a better phrase. Respect to anyone who keeps a family memory alive and road-worthy.

Good to see you all in "real life" after 35 years of looking at you and predecessors in a magazine, from a proud owner of a '59 Traveller and '50 MG TD.

Great story on the 2000 Danny, something special about having something you remember as a child. I came so close to buying the car that started it all for me (1935 MG PA I used to sit on the chassis of as a child before it was restored), alas I missed out by a day - one day perhaps!

Enjoyable. I used to get a lift to work in 1980/81 in a Triumph 2000 exactly like that in Sienna Brown i remember that car well. Always enjoyed reading Practical classics from the start and the cars featured then were quite different to now(different era) the cars currently included were either new or not in existence at that time.

I love classics - have had 2 MGs and a Cortina 1600E over the years - but I have pretty much zero mechanical knowledge or motivation...!!
I know folks will say "It's never too late to learn..." but I just can't see that happening any time soon, sadly...
Keep up the good work, guys - loved this longer episode 😎

Love the magazine and always pick it up when i see it. Im a fiat fan and have 2 cinquecentos and am you're typical tinkerer on the driveway.... shocking weather this year, first we were scorched and now nearly floating away with the amount of rain 🙄👍🇮🇪

1973 Triumph 2000 in French Blue was my last classic car in the UK. I put Stag alloys on it and went a bit too wide on the tyres which made it a little heavy on the steering at low speeds. I’m currently tempted by a little Triumph 1300 that could well be the only one in the country - but it’s on the opposite side of that country to me and Canada is very big. Shipping costs have never been cheap but now it’s getting ridiculous, sadly.
    Great tour! 👍🏻

Great stuff chaps. I think PC mag. is as good ATM as it has ever been. Look forward to every issue. Cheers from a Wintery Tasmania.

    Wow !
I went to Reading University (in the early-mid 1990s) and I had a Triumph 2500 PI at the time too !

Great stuff! Every car seems well suited to its owner. I love the story of Danny’s Triumph. My grandad had the mk1 Triumph 2000 in the sixties.
