Asking for Help

  • Reaching out for help is not a strong suit of mine. After battling eczema alone the first time around, I decided it was time to let people know about my situation and share my struggle.
Opening up communication has been a world of help for me and how I see my eczema. Even amidst flare ups and recovery, I have peace of mind because I have support. My healing is slow, but each day I wake up hopefully because I know I keep good company and have healthy lifestyle practices.

I’m glad you’ve decided to tell people about what you’re going through. I know it can be really hard. It’s very important to speak your truth and let things out. Props to you, you deserve healing and love. Much Love!

I got so happy when I saw you had posted a video after almost a year. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hear you. I’ve dealt with eczema my whole life. Truth is not everyone will understand how crippling it can be. Other people don’t see the struggle and I constantly feel uncomfortable in my own skin, but I will continue to try to cope with it.

This put a lot of things in perspective for me. I always felt this way deep down but never focused on how hard I am on myself when it’s not my fault. People can be sympathetic and not judgemental, even those ppl who are project their own insecurities and issues in that manner.

Your baking story is so cute. I really feel for you. Im also working hard to clear it from my right face/eye. Whole foods, plant based, fats & oil to 10 %, yoga, and gonna do a bacteria and yeast gut test at the hospital. Definitely not taking any meds they prescribe, but will try herbal ones if it comes out. We support you!!

Your skin looks good... you are healing..I have a therapist that helps me through this..its hard to live in a world filled with so many yummy things that are no longer parts of our diet. However,
I realize that the eczema and changing our diets has probably saved us from a lot of crazy diseases... fyi.. my fasting
glucose was 92!!! ( I am 71) WE ARE ALL going to recover and prove all the doctors we all saw WRONG!!! Peace!

Hey, same here! Somewhere inside me was not being vulnerable, not being aligned with my true self, always being a nice, person, not asking for help. I am recovering. Showing my true self.
Love you, honey. It's okay. Let's heal, and be healthy inside out !! 💓💓❤

My eczema is mainly from outside ALLERGIES like trees and grass
ect..,but some foods too. Controlling what is causing it all is
difficult . Stress and other factors too contribute to the problem so
finding out your cure is the challenge.

Yes dear, your health comes first. Baking is all about gluten, diary, sugar and heat, which are biggest triggers for eczema.

    I have eczema and
It goes away after 3 days of not weting my hands but as soon as i wash my hands it comes back. I use latex blue gloves every time im guna need to wash my hands. Like if i need to use the toilet i use gloves. If i was dishes i use gloves. If i take out trash i use gloves. It really helps to not wash hands.

Yep, you're learning important life lessons from this that you would never have gotten to learn before. Having to step out of your comfort zone and ask for help will help you reach out to others when their load is too heavy. Compassion for others that comes from personal struggles makes us better human beings. We can either become hardened or we can embrace our humanity. Beautiful to see you embracing. Still in my prayers. After all, I can't personally help you carry your load, but I can lift you up to the One who can. He hears your name quite often. 🙏💕

Hi Susan I hope you can understand my message.

If you are a vegan, check out your iron level. If your iron level is low take liquid iron. God bless you.

And over exercising may increase your biological stress level and cortisol disorder. Moderate exercise is fine.
