Color me impressed this was even better than the last episode, the different narration in this episode definitely caught me by surprise but it was a welcome surprise nonetheless (And at this point I'm guessing you're doing a different narrator for each episode), Crimson VA managed to do an excellent job at her narration invoking both a calming and ominous vibe to her as the episode progresses and gets to the ending when a lush paradise in the continent of China turns into a dark, ash-ridden hellhole, very emotive and professional for a underappreciated voice actress and I wish her the best of luck in her future voice acting ventures! The questionable aspect ratio change is still apparent but honestly I was too invested in Crimson's lovely narration to even care, and Narrative-wise it's an excellent episode, can't wait to see what becomes of the next episode!
Ok, I love this. I get goosebumps when I hear the opening music from when I was a kid. But gotta say can we have less night scenes? Or at least brighten them up with a full moon? Can’t hardly see what’s going on.

The visuals in this are just so stunning! I’m amazed by how much you can do with the models and atmospheres from the game, and turn them into something on this big of a scale! A true pleasure to be a part of this team and I can’t wait to provide my voice for more episodes to come ^w^
I thought they were sneaking in a joke about the thagomizer, having only ever heard its use reading the long-ago "The Far Side" cartoon whence the word originated. Imagine my delight to discover that it has since been adopted by paleontologists as a semi-official term. LOL. Kudos, Gary Larson.

Part of the reason I bought a playstation 2 was because at the time it was cheaper than a dvd player and the first thing I bought to watch was Walking with Dinosaurs. These are great recreations. I wish they were 10x longer. Thanks for doing them!
I just love the idea of a walking with dinosaurs remake using Jurassic world evolution gameplay I never thought it would actually happen anyways I just love this entire series and i think you did such an amazing job with it and it looks so good
The voice acting in this is amazing, the way she lowers her voice when there’s tight situation, I love it At first I preferred the male voice, but that changed quickly lol
Oh, this was worth the wait! So pleased you found a narrator, I was tempted but didn't know how to go about it lol. I think you may gave surpassed the first episode.
Damnnn I really thought you were going to mention that smaller predator at the end as guanlong, which gave rise to the tyrannosaurs of the cretaceous. I also wish you mentioned the Chinese death pits caused by the footprints of mamenchisaurus, the famous fossilized footprints filled with volcanic mud that acted like quicksand traps for small dinosaurs and other creatures; and I also would have liked an explanation on the colorful face crests of the Yangchuanosaurus. But overall, I loved this episode and the one before it, they are shot and produced so well with great narrations! I can't wait for the next one to come out, keep up the good work!

Congrats for an awesome video - You've definitely spent quite some time to work on this :P I think it's as good as it's gonna be :) Small criticism - I've noticed rough transitions between dialogue and footage when changing topics, for instance: 13:40 - "An intruder crosses into the domain of the king, this ... the male will not tolerate" - I was intrigued to see what happens to it; 13: 59 - "Deadly sulfuric gas...." what happened to the intruder?? and how did the gas get there? But all in all, I personally loved it! GG
Thank you very much for your comment ! For this transition, the aim was to create a sense of panic by accumulating the problems happened simultaneously, and not answering to all the questions, so the spectator feels a bit lost, even though it's not that much.
Second episode, double the fun, the Volcano twist was heartbreaking, however, that was just the beggining of the rising of the Tyrant Lizard King, now lets see what amazing creatures the 3rd episode brings back to life
As soon as I saw the crests of the smaller predators, I was able to identify them as Guanlongs immediately, and as soon as the preview of the next episode comes, I knew it is about the Tyrannosaurs

Really enjoyed the voiceover, the narrator is awesome, they make it so gripping! Loved the score also, so intense!! was it from the original Walking With Dinosaurs? i can't remember??
Another great episode, it’s cool how you have there be another narrator for this one and double neat how you gave these lesser known Dinosaurs of the Jurassic (When compared to Alloaurus, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, etc) their chance to shine such as Huayangosaurus and Yangchuanosaurus, the latter of which is among my favourite Dinosaurs.
Credit to PrehistoricFanBoy 101 for showing what dinosaurs are in this episode - Mamenchisaurus, Sinraptor, Guanlong?, Dryosaurus?, Yangchuanosaurus, Huayangosaurus, Gigantspinosaurus.
Might I recommend something to think over? the night time scenes are REALLY cool, I just can't see anything. Perhaps "filming" those scenes in infrared or how Netflix's Night on Earth series does it (Can't recall the technique but it's not just infrared), or perhaps night vision (green). That way the viewer still knows it's night, but can actually see the action. You might also want to think about switching between completely pitch black night time scenes and night vision scenes so as to compare the true black of night to what is actually going on. Otherwise this was AMAZING!

This is awesome. Seriously my only critique is that it was REALLY dark sometimes, but that might’ve also just been me that couldn’t see parts of it very well Good job. That was the best dinosaur content I’ve seen on here in a while
i actually really liked the night scenes, it felt like, "this is what being a prey at night is like! it's actually _pretty dark!!"_ and the soundtrack made it work, it was vibrant and lush, it felt like you needed to prick your ears, yeah i don't know i liked it.
This episode could probably have been paced better, felt like too much was put into too little time. Also it jumped around to different animals so often. It didn't following an evolutionary line or group like the first episode.
Thank you for the critic, however the point of this episode wasn't to be like the 1st one, the pacing was volunterly different, next episode will be similar to the first one ;)
@@PastEons I actually prefer this episode to the first one as it is more in line with the original WWD where each episode focused on a particular period and only set in one or a few areas.
@@PastEons we need episode about prehistoric desert Gobi in Mongolia (oviraptors, gigamtoraptors, velociraptors, protoceratops, tarbosaurs, zaurolofus, terizinozaur, mononynkus and much more)
The cinematographer / crew should have used a night-vision camera or spotlights when they were taping these guys at night , woulda made it a little easier to see these gloryous beasts ,&what there doing (what the beast are doing i mean)
Ill be honest here when i saw this i thought this is a officialy doc but it turns out its just another animated thing done with effects but either way it looks real good

Perhaps do what walking with dinosaurs did in the Antarctic episode and have night vision or at the very least up the gamma for such scenes majorly.

Thank you very much for your comment ! Indeed some scenes are quiet dark, this is because I calibrated everything to be seen at night on a big screen
i actually really liked the night scenes, it felt like, "this is what being a prey at night is like! it's actually _pretty dark!!"_ and the soundtrack made it work, it was vibrant and lush, it felt like you needed to prick your ears, yeah i don't know i liked it.
i just can't get around the quality of these things. Holy moly this is DOCUMENTARY LEVEL STUFF.
This episode could probably have been paced better, felt like too much was put into too little time. Also it jumped around to different animals so often. It didn't following an evolutionary line or group like the first episode.
Thank you for the critic, however the point of this episode wasn't to be like the 1st one, the pacing was volunterly different, next episode will be similar to the first one ;)
@@PastEons I actually prefer this episode to the first one as it is more in line with the original WWD where each episode focused on a particular period and only set in one or a few areas.

The cinematographer / crew should have used a night-vision camera or spotlights when they were taping these guys at night , woulda made it a little easier to see these gloryous beasts ,&what there doing (what the beast are doing i mean)
