I am absolutely floored. Stunned. I have been a dinosaur fan my entire life. This is one of the greatest self-made film on dinosaurs that has ever been produced. I can sense the passion and your love for these creatures. I am astonished to read in the description that the soundtrack is also original? How could that be. You are a combination of Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer for the Dino community.
In this movie the dinosaurs do not scream before they attack. I allways find it ridiculous when in videos about dinosaurs T. rex is roaring and screaming when it hunts. It feels like an insult to my intelligence when they show predators warning their prey. So thumbs up for this one!
Oh Hell yes! It's almost time........ time to travel back in time to meet extraordinary animals of the past thanks to the amazing Past Eons Productions. I have the reminder on ready to watch this live! ;)
Keeping both the prey and predator in frame, with long focal length. Awesome chase shot. Also I love that the “coating” of animals fit the environment. Believable camouflage.
Quite Frankly Brilliant. This was just an amazing episode. The environment felt lived in, real and cohesive with every animal making sense to be there and doing what it was doing. The portrayal of the different seasons was also fantastic. I really like how this episode stopped to focus more on smaller species who are often overlooked by paleo media in favour of the big carnivores and herbivores. So it was nice to see the oreodromeus' difficulties on their migration (Including a watering hole straight out of the African savannah). The Gorgosaurus were also done well as they were also clearly portrayed as just animals and whilst they did hunt it was very clear that they were not bloodthirsty monsters, but instead just animals forced to an extreme alliance to survive. If I had one very small nit-pick it would be the Deinosuchus as it felt a bit underutilised as it only appeared twice, Once in the sea where it was set up and then at the end where it appeared again but did nothing which I felt was slightly disappointing. That being said I fully understand the limitations of the game and how it would be impossible to have it interact with the land dinosaurs so it was a bit of a no win scenario as lengthening the deinosuchus segment in the sea could slightly break the cohesion of the rest of the story. But overall that was a very minor nitpick and everything else was perfection. Overall I'd say this is one of your best works so far and may even top Hostile lands of Asia as my favourite from the series.
How does this channel not have more subscribers? This is AMAZING!!! It's extremely professional filmmaking, rivaling even the best BBC wildlife documentaries!!!

Good job. Nice way to start Season 2. The beginning was really nice. This episode kind of reminds me of Spirits of the Ice Forest in a way. With the small ornithopods, Leaellynasaura in the original documentary and in this case, Orodromeus, surviving in a hostile environment. The Hypacrosaurus act as the Muttaburrasaurus (kind of). Gorgosaurus acts as the Polar Allosaur. And Deinosuchus acts as the Koolasuchus. All the scenes with the Deinosuchus were done quite well. It would have been great to see it hunt some of the creatures. Archelon or Protostega would have been great to see in this too as Deinosuchus probably would have eaten the sea turtles that live around the Western Interior Seaway. The Stenonychosaurus scene was nice. I do think they would have looked much better with feathers. I could understand the Gorgosaurus not having feathers but Stenonychosaurus, no. Although that can't be helped. Maybe when Dominion releases with a (hypothetical) DLC/Update we'll see a surge in Feathered Dinosaur mods for the game. And not just dinosaurs but also pterosaurs too. But that's really my only nitpick but besides that great job. I look forward to seeing what you can do with this series, especially with the man different species coming with Dominion and the new content that may come with it to the game.
i'm sorry but this is amazing. literally if i didn't know any better, i would think this is a real documentary with real dinosaurs! it's so good! please keep it up!
How times have changed! I remember when Walking With Dinosaurs originally aired and the FX were considered groundbreaking! Still an excellent series for youngsters interested in this genre.😁👍
19:12 You are mistaken, flowering angiosperms appeared at the beginning of the Cretaceous period, that is, 120-150 million years ago. And by the middle of the Cretaceous period, they had spread all over the world. No one had to rebuild, all the dinosaurs that you showed have already appeared and live in an environment with flowering plants.
Wow, you made this from the JWE 2 game? That's amazing!! I really enjoyed watching this more than I thought I was going to. I really love the sounds in this, from hearing the Orodromeus, the soundtrack in the background which makes everything feel more intense and of course the narrator who has such a calming, beautiful voice. I also really love what you captured, especially watching the sun roll down in sped-up time, exactly like a documentary. An overview of the plains, smoothly following the dinosaurs as they walk, overview of the herds, even night vision of the scavengers with light eyes. I really enjoyed watching the carnivores patrol over the herd as well, it was exactly like how carnivores as of today obverse a herd, seeking a prey that will be easier to hunt. A bit disappointed though that they hunted two different species because the narrator said they were meant to hunt together to increase their chances, but it felt more like an individual hunt instead. However I do understand you're limited with that because it is a game. I also don't think two carnivores who are strangers would team up like that, unless they were already bonded. I would have been happy to have just seen the one. I do wish I also saw more Orodromeus interactions, even if it is the same one but in different angles. Overall, pretty satisfying to watch. I am looking forward to seeing more, leaving a thumbs up in hopes you will continue to do more of these in future.
Thanks for the feedback! The 2 large carnivores aren't actually hunting together but rather cooperating to create panic, this is actually a real thing which happens when in times of scarcity. It is also mentioned in Prehistoric Planet 😁
You need to get ahold of BBC and make this happen! Walking with Dinosaurs is extremely underrated and a legit remake with the help from people like you would be amazing!
Just asking but can you a chapter like this but on the creatures that lived on the eastern landmass of North America which Is called Appalachia and like it had different dinosaurs that didn’t exist on Laramida like smaller species of T. rex and small species of horned dinosaurs that don’t have horns and also Appalachia was the ancestral homeland of the hadrosaurs and among them was Hadrosaurs itself and an interesting fact is that Hadrosaurs is the state fossil of my Home State New Jersey and just saying but like when the nodosaurs were replaced by the ankylosaurs in Lauramida and the nodosaurs made their way to Appalachia where instead of dying out they thrived and while on Lauramida they only survived in the form of specialized forms like Edmontonia and Panoplosaurus.

Thank you for all your hard work, team! This is such a cool piece of art and it's crazy to think this was made using JWE 2. I can't wait for the rest!
Thank you very much for the compliments Troy!
19:12 You are mistaken, flowering angiosperms appeared at the beginning of the Cretaceous period, that is, 120-150 million years ago. And by the middle of the Cretaceous period, they had spread all over the world. No one had to rebuild, all the dinosaurs that you showed have already appeared and live in an environment with flowering plants.
this is just a masterpiece. the narration, cinematics, the models, everything
Thank you for the compliment ! :)
@@PastEons I never knew that, that's so interesting to know! I take it back if this is what they would do then, my apologises
Wow. The graphics in this game look so realistic that I thought it was a real TV show.
You need to get ahold of BBC and make this happen! Walking with Dinosaurs is extremely underrated and a legit remake with the help from people like you would be amazing!
Can't imagine the work and the effort but to this
Great job to everyone who worked at this
Thank you! 😊
58 seconds to see this escape from the jaws of T-Rex! th-cam.com/video/IAzs_ZF953E/w-d-xo.html
