+IJMacfarlane I know,right?To me,it seems like every driver that races Kadett C does it in a way like they're posessed by demon because i never seen any other car driven so aggresively like Kadett C.Yes,there are more powerful cars raced hard and on the limit,but Kadett C's seem so happy when they are flyin' on those tight mountain roads.A true car legend of hillclimb racing.

+Gennadiy SH i want to say yes, im pretty sure the martini s4 is real. but even if they werent group b cars they may not be replicas as the ahd to make 200 each year for sale to the general public. i think more then a few of those have ended up being in these types of competitions
i thought that this cars, which were made for homologation, are not so powerful as race cars)
+Gennadiy SH i think they were 300 hp, the race cars were said to have 600 but who knows how much they really made. but the base car is the same(engine trans suspension) so there's no reason you couldn't just mod it up and get the numbers they did or even better as turbo tech has come a long way

To be fair, the sound of a V8 will never astonish me as much as that sound of that 2.3 liter 5 cylinder with that crazy blow off valve sound. Sorry, S1 wins. Besides, you are talking RWD cars, here we talk about AWD. So, the beemer and the benz lose again.

The S1 is my favourite Group B car in terms of looks, those white rims with the huge wing and front splitter are just gorgeous, and I love its usual turbo flutter. But in terms of raw performance on a rally stage the S4 was unbeatable. It was compact, light and the twin charge gave insane power at all rpms, it was just perfect.
S4 was beaten many times. Peugeot was better, in handling in particular. World champions both driver and constructors. But the S1 was undoubtedly the best in terms of sound with its line 5.
@@courcheveller The S4 was mostly beaten through politics, it was arguably the best car on track. But yeah the 205 T16 was a monster too.
The S4, T16, S1, Metro and RS200 are all legendary cars.

I miss group B cars like the Lancia Delta S4 or the Audi Quattro S1 these cars were driven by real Women and men and looked and sounded great just as a race car should exiting to watch and make the ground move bring them back to racing instead of the boring cars of today
I think they should bring back the Group 4 rules , Group B is too extrem and expensive. But in general i think they should allow everything in Motorsports that everyone can choose what he wants with a minimum of rules.

2: The Car in this Video is the Lancia Delta S4, which competed only the 85 and 86 season, but didn't win either drivers or constructors.

Those truck's are fucking failure's I know you get different classes in racing but shit they just ain't cutting it, they seem wild and cool to begin with then the thick black smoke sort of kill's it and then you see how slow they are in comparison to the cars and it's completely dead

Compare the trucks to road legal trucks and you will see how fast they are. What´s the sense to compare a truck to a car?

I was talking about the purpose of race trucks in hill climb events. Undoubtedly, these purpose-built race or time attack vehicles - no matter which - are extremely difficult to drive, but the reason the trucks are running there is show. That's also why you'll find a gigantic fake cigar on the back of one truck. There are also drifters in these events - their cars (usually old BMWs without any or with very few aero modifications) are set up for drifting and they try to drift as many turns as possible. That's a part of the show. In that context, I'd like you to reconsider your flame against me.
I'd like to point out that I was not talking about the actual competitors like the Audi S1, who take their cars to the absolute limit in pursuit of the fastest time possible.
