@@dxer22000 Japan's domestic commercial broadcasting stations will stop AM broadcasting. However, it is the broadcasting stations in big cities such as Tokyo and domestic commercial broadcasting stations in Hokkaido that will continue broadcasting. It is the local broadcasting stations that will stop. Then, NHK-R1 will continue broadcasting. NHK-R2 is scheduled to stop in a few years.
I've heard that some Japanese AMs are now off air as a test until January. Can you provide a list? I assume JOWF 1440 is off?
Japanese radio stations will be off the air from late Sunday night until early Monday morning.
