Yes Tabitha was a very power young witch. She did things that even Samantha was surprised at. it is not surprising since she comes from a very powerful bloodline

I can see how he got his name, too. :p Also, this isn’t the first time Tabitha uses that “extract from picture book” spell-we see her do the same with three spooky creatures in a Halloween episode. You’d think her parents would stop reading her books with pictures of the characters! :p
I remember reading to my little ones to help them get to sleep. I was so exhausted at the end of the day that I was the one to fall asleep! and they kept trying to prop my eyelids open with their little fingers to wake me up and finish the story 😂
Oh yeah I remember the stalling not to go to sleep. My poor sweet daddy always fell for it and would tell us more stories. We loved his stories. I miss my daddy. He suffered terribly with a brain tumor before he died

There was the time when Samantha’s mother and 3 aunts tested Tabitha’s powers, and knew she had what it took to be a great witch. So they wanted to send her to aunt Enchantra’s old school, but Maurice wouldn’t have it.
Tabitha's, only setback is that her father is mortal. If her witchcraft powers are weak it's because of Darren. But her family hereditary is strong because of Samantha and endora and maurice. Anybody agree???.
In the season 3 episode Witches and Warlocks Are My Favorite Things, Endora mentions that Samantha's Aunt Hagatha runs a magic school. So there's a Hogwarts type school canon in the Bewitched universe.
And twenty years later, they made The Charmings where Snow White, Prince Charming, the Wicked Step Mother and two children adjust to 1980's suburban life.
and another twenty years later they made "Once upon a time" which brought the world of fairy tales to a whole new level in an enchanted small town.... 😃

When every other mother in the world is saying, 'Don't touch' you'll be saying, 'Don't twitch.''" 😀 Apparently they had more than one school for witches and warlocks. Not only Hagatha's school, but there's a school where they teach them how to fly. Oh, there's Witches University. 🙂 I love the dress that Elizabeth wore here.

The segment when Tabitha floats the book over to her crib was reused for the opening credits of “Tabitha” starring Lisa Hartman. They modified the sound effects a little bit.
