if i remember right i used to cross that street passing rally's to go to school HIS before it got changed to Hawthorne Middle School. I always got in trouble coming to school late because i always bought 2 burgers every morning and the school called rally's to not sell me any burgers and they didn't care lol and at 1:17 if i remember right i passed that water tower going some steep up hill to go to Ramona school and it sure was a workout if you missed to school bus lol

I'm from South America and I stayed in a hotel in W El Segundo Blvd. in 2023. I needed to buy some stuff but Google Maps didn't suggest any public transportation to the nearest Walmart. I didn't want to pay Uber so I walked all the way down S Inglewood Ave to the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Back in my way to the hotel I bought a beer in the liquor store in 07:17

Great video. Wish you could have gone more down HAWTHORNE BLVD, Prarie Ave, and along Luezinger H.S. Eventhough the H.S. is technically in Lawndale (I think). Thank you for posting this video.

Hawthorne could be so nice. Sadly there's a lot of a certain demographic that is known to ruin areas. Stealing, drunk driving, shootings and if your kids go to school here they're definitely gonna have a hard time with bullying.
Houses are damn near 1M dollars for a 3 bed 1 bath and 1,100 square feet.

@@beatsbyjiro8291 it's not the worst city but it definitely has a long way to go. Just in the last 2 weeks there's been about 3 deadly shootings.
Not to mention it neighbors Inglewood and Gardena.

@@jayp.69 Yeah thats tragic, its really close to the coast as well as far as I can tell, tremendous potential there and the houses are about the same price as here in the Bay Area.

I lived in Hawthorne until I was 18. I always considered Hawthorne a little hick town. God, how I wish I could live there now instead of living in the hood in long beach

Yeaaa, Hawthorne does seem nostalgic more familiar I mean the stores around this area Hawthorne are easy to recognize, I think in ur case you got used to it! ;)
