Hello from Ontario Canada This town is very, very lucky to have Steve watching over these bears. He's probably stopped hundreds of situations that could have been horrible outcomes. Way to go Steve.
Thank U Steve for Caring about the Bears,, Loved it wen u did an Indian Spiritual burial , i m an American Passamaquoddy Indian from Syate of Maine ,, I appreciate all U do for these bears , Yo Great with Em ,, God Bless 🙏 🙏
I'm sure that the combo of the words he says and his tone of voice with the loud sounds, & the sting of the rubber bullets, teaches them what Steve's words mean. They're so smart, they can learn what words mean.
Steve is a special soul. It takes an enormous amount of strength to work with wild animals that you love, and at the same time, be able to love animals enough to also unlike them if they are suffering. I know he is doing the right thing, by entering their pain and suffering. But toalsoshow respect and appreciation for nature, and life, he sends the bear to bear heaven as the Native Americans would have done.
Another reason relocation doesn't work because once a bear associates humans with food, it will attack a random person way out in the wild in their tent, and it will return to the original scene.
He knows that. You don't like his STYLE? THE BEARS don't know or care. He's using conditioning and it's a proven method. It's weird how people who know nothing about wild animals are sudden experts on all things wild animal. 🙄🙄🙄
How heartbreaking to personally know the bear that some loser shot for no reason. Thank GOD the bear was ok. He's completely innocent. Humans are monstrous.
Bear is the cutest animal ever yet deadliest. i work alongside zoologist, went to Romania to study their local animals, encountered brown bear with cubs, we're lucky enough the bear didn't gaf.
In that same area, I was with 3 people way in the back country, menaced and constantly charged by a bear. It took us 3 days to get back to the trail head. We couldn't sleep or rest because it would just circle back and come at us from another direction. We had to yell and bang pots and look and act aggressive. It was in the fall and maybe this bear wasn't fat enough for hibernation, but he wasn't backing down. We went 3 nights and 3 days with no sleep, and one of the people got really sick and we had to pull her along almost by force. When we got back in once piece, one of our members had to be treated for exposure and exhaustion. The whole nightmare started at night while we were in our tent, and it aggressively pushed at our tent. We didn't have anything scented, not even gum. Our food hung up away from camp, really high, away from the trunk - we did everything right and were very experienced. I've spent all my life in wilderness and never had an experience like this. I should have reported it. We were just so sleep deprived and stunned, we didn't. At that time, bears were getting into trash cans near homes, at Tamarack lodge, and I knew a woman who slapped one on the butt to get it to leave. Ie. They were too habituated. At some point before this occurred, A couple wss killed in a nearby area, when they were sleeping in a tent and he had a snickers bar (or something like that) in his sleeping bag. Both people died. I was friends with a lot of the backcountry rangers (including Sue, who was a legend in the 80s), so I was too casual, even after that experience, and I should have reported my experience.
I love watching this show and I love the way they interact with each other husband and wife being able to go through life what's love respect and laughter that's incredible and it makes for a Wonderful Life
Steve, you are my hero. I live in the UK so I don’t have to worry about bears. I would be the idiot who stood there smiling whist it run up and ate me. Thank you and God Bless xx
Bardzo dziękuję, świetny materiał. A jednak to my ludzie zajmujemy tereny należące do dzikiej przyrody, chcemy coraz więcej i więcej. A to nie jest dobre. To miecz obosieczny, który nam przysłania to co ważne, piękne i budujące dla człowieka.
Would it be possible to plant food sources further up into the mountains to keep their distance from human areas? Thank you for your courage and to help keep bears safe to.
Where the sow's baby died hit by car that's what happened where i live. The sow went wild running the area letting out whaling, crying wildly looking for her baby.
If you would listen to what he says you would know what he says about his odds..he's far from stupid.. his best to educate..many times fall on deaF ears..tourists are the worst offenders of all....
Exactly. All you have to do is watch footage of how tourists act around large animals in national parks. Thinking they can take a selfie with a bison or walk up to a grizzly for a close up. 😳 Some people from the cities think it's like a zoo or something and don't heed the signs everywhere saying keep a however many yard distance from wild animals. Not too smart.
That man wanting blondie dead is terrible he complains about the bears breaking in his cabin but what did he expect when you build in the middle of it's home sone people are so selfish they take their and expect them to go else where it disgusts me really
Ive been watching Steve but after watching how he stalked blondie the bear and swore he loved it but then stalked it to have the police shoot and girk her, i dont believe he has any love or remorse for these bears. Ive let my respect for him and will not watch his fake shows again.
They should just capture the bears , Put Em More into the Woods , Move them Elsewhere, instead of hurting or Killing Em ,, Bears are Spiritual Animals to Indians ,, Please Save the Bears ,🐻 'S ,, MUWIN is indian word for bear ,, MUWINESIS means Lil Bear 🐻 ,, sad wen ah bear 🐻 gets hit by ah car, Soo Very Sad , God Bless 🙏 🙏 😢😢😢,, Its calld Sage
OK, expert. That doesn't work. Bears have been moved hundreds of miles, over and over again, only to be found back at the same location weeks later. You really think a hundred years of scientists, biologists, and Rangers haven't tried absolutely everything, over and over again, and keeping track of the results? People who have never in their lives dealt with wild animals are suddenly experts because they saw a show once about one person, and now they're an expert. Pfffftttt
I MEANT MOVE EM FAR , FAR , FAR AWY , NOT LIL MILES AWAY, HELLO , U DON T LIKE MY COMMENT , DON T F-NG APPLY OR COMMENT , YO SOO AN EXPERT YO SELF ,, IGNORANT REPLIES, YO RUDE
They do that in sanctuaries but I am sure the people want the bears to live as free as they can without human interaction and that is why Steve is there.
Doesn't work. Has been tried and tried and tried. They always find their way back. But sure, you're not a bear biologist but you know exactly what to do without any ounce of humiliity.

When invasive species show up, it’s like the garden’s idea of a surprise party.
Put this on as something to fall asleep too. I am now half way through, totally hooked and won’t be sleeping anytime soon 🤣

Not true. When have you heard of hundreds of horrible outcomes involving bears in one town or city?
The absolute best bear show I’ve ever seen
That first bear under the deck is an absolute unit, if it came towards me I'd probably need a change of underwear. That's a big bIack bear. 😅
I admire this man so so much. He has so much empathy and kindness. Wow.
30 minutes and 16 seconds in and I’m SOBBING …
I thought it was just me 😢
When he had to shoot the bear that got hit by car 😢
I'm sure that the combo of the words he says and his tone of voice with the loud sounds, & the sting of the rubber bullets, teaches them what Steve's words mean.
They're so smart, they can learn what words mean.
the bear under the house looked so sad.
The fact that he feels safer around bears then people in the city says a lot about people in the city
I was excited because I watched all the episodes thinking these were new ones 😣😂 idk it got hella interesting 🐻
Thank you Steve for doing what you do. I can tell you care about the bears and your community, you are to be commended !

Steves voice is so soothing
The most interesting doc about bears I've seen yet. Steve is impressive! People are stupid.
Omg... that poor momma!!! The sadness in her cries!!! I was crying with her!!!!!
Love this man
The bears are no doubt letting Steve live. Steve absolutely doesn’t have the upper hand on any bear 🐻
Bears are very intelligent, on par with primates. Whatever their thoughts are, he works well with them and he keeps them and humans safe.
Pretty sure Steve is dead by now

Well he’s still Alive !
@@deborah5212 anyone that thinks they are some kind of bear whisperer is in my opinion kidding themselves.
You bad bear made me smile.
Another reason relocation doesn't work because once a bear associates humans with food, it will attack a random person way out in the wild in their tent, and it will return to the original scene.
Steve is treating those bears like naughty children but they are so much more than that
He knows that. You don't like his STYLE? THE BEARS don't know or care. He's using conditioning and it's a proven method.

Let's be real you have to make a decision it or yourself..I love animals but humans should come first
29:41 sounds like he collected experience from the dead bear 😂😢
31:26... Thank you Steve for respecting this beautiful Bear at the end of his time. Much respect to you Steve!!!

He must not have seen what happened to Timothy treadwell
He carries a hand gun on his hip. He obviously knows what he's doing🤦♀️

Vocal commands like the bear understood what he was saying he just got lucky in the bear decided not to eat him for spring dinner
I hate the jurisdiction thing. If Steve is the best, he should be welcome in all jurisdictions.
I love watching this show and I love the way they interact with each other husband and wife being able to go through life what's love respect and laughter that's incredible and it makes for a Wonderful Life

Please don’t end up like Timothy Treadmill😓 He thought he knew Bears too and his love for them turned out to be his ending fate

Put covers over coverts, if the bears keep using certain properties board it up.
BS shooting a bear in its habitat, that’s a risk you take living there! FU!
FACTS!👍

The bear is securely treed 😂
May just want to rethink calling a bear "Blacky" mate 😂
Lucky guy!!!!
Does yelling “you bad bear!” work??
What happens when Steve ain't around no more
Be careful out there!!!

The cub that was hit by a car was eaten by the mother. That’s how mama dealt with it
Bear could have been sedated operated on and relocated.
They do that in sanctuaries but I am sure the people want the bears to live as free as they can without human interaction and that is why Steve is there.
Also I don't think they put metal pins in bears. The vet probably would put the bear down as well.
