Well Zachary, here you are a 22 year old teaching a 69 year old. I have been “trying to perfect” my drawings and have watch numerous TH-cam videos but have always been left at the same place to where I began. Your explanation was so clear and I can’t thank you enough. Hence you now have a new subscriber and I highlighted the bell so I don’t miss any. Now to cram all you others before this one. Thank you so much as this is my personal space while dealing with cancer. Keep up your fantastic work and I hope to see a lot more from you. Kind regards from Australia ❤
Thank you so much Maria! I’m so glad these tutorials help, I always try my best to make it as clear and direct as possible but sometimes it can be tough when something is a tad too intricate haha. Sending lots of love and best wishes to you, let me know what tutorial you’d like to see next! 🫶❤
I'm not going to make any requests. Whatever you choose to share will enrich our brains with motivation😁.I know these videos take a while to make. Thank you so much for sharing your methods with us all.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I used to draw graphite portraits when I was young and stopped drawing for years after I had my children. I want to start drawing again and have tried, but at 68 years old, after playing piano and designing cakes and cookies for years, arthritis has made my hands stiff and less able to control a pencil. I never thought I could do hyper realistic ANYTHING, but your tutorials have shown me I can still use a makeup brush for shading (I used to cross-hatch) and use the pencils and erasers to "tap" the highlights and lowlights. I really appreciate that you explain what tools will be needed and how you're using each tool as you use them. I have never subscribed to a TH-cam channel, but I subscribed to yours. Thank you for sharing your gift!
Hey Zachary when doing hair will you use the same approach? Like when you’re doing the face or hands? You will use charcoal first for the shadows and then use the pencils for the soft shadows.
Oh my gosh! You are the greatest!!! I am going to implement all of these ideas and techniques. You are an unbelievable teacher. Thanks for making this video.
