Great video Jefferson, next time we visit America this will be on our bucket list. Loved the street art and food and that barber shop was amazing and great shoots too especially the mono. Thanks for sharing.

Great to see your street photography shots and video. Good idea to hire someone to take you around. Looks like it was quiet until the evening when things picked up. Nice to see a positive review of TJ.
My home town! Not the most beautiful yet the most fun.. warm people and best food ever! Love it! Thanks for showing that it isn't as bad as news say! We're just normal people making a living in different ways.. looking for a brighter future! 🙏🏼🏡 Really loved your video! Will subscribe to watch more!!! 👍
The food looks amazing! There is so much to see south of the border and super smart to hire Natalie. Mexico is so much more than what we hear in the news. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love Tijuana! Also rosarito and puerto nuevo for lobsters. People are so friendly and I've always felt safe. We take ubers everywhere. Also they have great beer and lots of breweries. Also great fine dining restaurants too. Cabanna is my favorite 😊
Another great Photowalks video. But I have a few questions: 1. Did I see a raw egg yolk being put into the Caesar salad? I thought raw eggs were not good to eat (but maybe it is only the white of the egg that shouldn't be eaten raw?). 2. Did drinking the water affect you in a bad way? I've always been told to not drink the water in Mexico (or ice cubes since they come from the same water). 3. I loved how, at 8:33 in the video at the tequila/barber shop, your video shows the sign that says, "No Photos / No Video". I was actually waiting to see if you'd get a haircut there, too. 4. My final comment is that the wall paintings I saw in your video were beautiful and don't detract from the setting, whereas in the U.S. we see just ugly graffiti on the walls. As always, I look forward to your next video. -- Ed
Thanks as always Ed. Yes, he put a raw egg into the dressing. What can I say? It's how the salad was invented back in the 1920s. Tasted fine. The water--they told me tap water was bad, but that wasn't what I was drinking. No problem there. On the Tequila shop and the "no photos sign" Nathalie had already cleared it. Remember that when tour guides bring people to shops they spend money, so the owners were very happy to see Nathalie show up! No haircut for me thanks--but it would have been a fantastic experience, I guess....For next up, I had a blast in the border town of Imperial Beach, which is right over the border. Now, just have to finish the edit!
There are many benefits to hiring a local guide...she got you places you probably would not be allower, and definately no portraity (which tell the story)...with the barbor, you mentoned the 1x lens, that was not using portrait mode? Was that because you wanted the environment plus the barbor? looks like great lighting? I like the black and white best as well!
Yes, Nathalie opened the door for all the portraits, which are always so much to look at in addition to buildings. Why not Portrait Mode for the barber? Well, I figured I had 5 minutes to get the shot, and as you note, I wanted to get as much of the environment as I could. On lighting, yup, barbers have good lights so they can see while they cut! Thanks so much for watching.

Thanks Victor! I'm with you all the way. I should probably do a compilation of my barber shots from Safety Harbor, Florida, TJ and Imperial Beach, CA!

another great time sharing your experience! thank you, Jefferson ⭐️
Thanks as always Ricky!
Great video. Smart idea to hire Natalie. She’s a perfect guide to give tours. Jefferson, you made many nice images of some wonderful people and scenes.
Thank you Kip! Nathalie is so camera friendly--as is the rest of TJ!

Thank you Todd. I think the key is going mid-week and during the day. Plus Nathalie was a real find!
Excellent video, Jefferson! And my compliments to your guide - she is great.
Thank you--I've passed on the kudos to Nathalie!

Thank you for watching and letting me know. I love TJ and can't wait to come back for more. Where should I go in TJ for the sequel?
Great video.

Can't wait to go back and see more on the second tour! Thanks Jan.

Thanks--I can't wait to go back!
Interesting trip. When I was in high school in SoCal in the early ‘60’s, lots of car buffs went to TJ for paint jobs and fancy upholstery.
Now they go there for the dentist!
@@PhotowalksTV Same people, just older 🙄

lol! I own a house in shady area and I feel very safe there. Most people own an apple phone.
Most residents of TJ also have a Visa. TJ is the best.
I have no doubt! Can’t wait to come back!
I would have never guessed it rained there 😆
Just like the rest of SoCal on that Wednesday morning! Made for a more photogenic trip!
Im a hobbyist photographer. Do you think it would be okay to bring a full sized camera (DSLR)?
I wouldn’t unless you were on a tour or with some other group
Nosele entiende nada
Visit, but don't stay there and gentrificate the place. Please be sure to leave.
