I’ve experienced a microburst once. It was crazy, hurricane type winds, total white out rain, and pretty short. Lasted maybe 10-15 seconds. I was lucky to be under my porch roof when it happened. Couldn’t imagine a plane trying to land in that.
The bottom line with any crash or fire that occurs has to do with money it’s very expensive to operate planes and if you have to shut them down for any reason maintenance or otherwise, it’s very expensive and costly. This is why a lot of things happen very catastrophically or badly, when concerning commercial flights, and maintenance it all boils down to money for the most part
A few months ago prior to going to Hawaii I watched dozens of plane crash videos. The worst part about my flight was when the pilot came over the intercom telling us that we were soon going to be experiencing some turbulence because we were scurrying around the edges of an unexpected hurricane that hit the Pacific. We did hit a little, but not too bad. Nonetheless, the entire flight I had this impending feeling of doom. I was fairly certain we had a significant chance of heading straight into the ocean, so I read all the safety information on the plane. I memorized all the details about a water landing and how to open the doors, inflate the slides, and get the rafts out of compartments. I obviously survived my flight there and back, but man was my anxiety through the roof. Although, the plus side is, I’m now an expert at airplane safety procedures. Not that you’d live anyway because I also read the statistics on water landings and they aren’t good. Most don’t end like the landing on the Hudson. 😂
On 1 June 2009, inconsistent airspeed indications led to the pilots inadvertently stalling the Airbus A330 serving the flight, failing to recover from it and eventually crashing into the Atlantic Ocean at 02:14 UTC, killing all 228 passengers and crew on board.

@@heartsmyfaceforever8140 It's not "all the time." You greatly exaggerate. There's like 4,500 planes in US airspace DAILY at any time. How many bad crashes, again?
the main lesson i took away after watching these videos is that all pilots / co pilots are super models, and i now realise how hard it is being a super model. all day flying these planes, and then a quick lettuce leaf before heading off to work on the catwalk for an evening show. when do these poor princesses get time to sleep ?
I hope you're being sarcastic...or you have never worked a day in your life so these pampered fragile "supermodels" seen like they have it rough to you 😂
Watching these made me less scared of flying. This is because it allowed me to know that issues that have happened in the pass have already been corrected. ❤❤❤
Yes but planes ✈️ have been in the air since the 50s. True investigators learn from each crash but there are still airlines that put off needed repairs to save money. And you’ll never know…until it’s too late.
The tower in most cases cannot see the planes. They are underground in a room with no windows. Only screens. The ATC upstairs in the glass enclosure can see planes and possibly view positions of flaps whether they are retracted or extended. With binoculars. It has happened.
I totally enjoy falling asleep to these also ❤ then I really gotta give it to some of these pilots I mean I could never dream to have the talent that they have I mean like they have the lives of how many people, and somehow they keep their shit together enough to know, sometimes beyond all odds land the thing
48:35 ..see what I mean? So the planes are about to cross paths..so WHAT HAPPENED? Are supposed to just make our own stories up about what actually happened? Just curious?
I can't imagine what goes thur the mind on a plane all of a sudden it's going down and theres nothing you can do but sit there and be ripped apart on impact you know it would be nothing short of a miracle to survive a plane crash and would you really want to survive maybe to spend the rest of you life as a living ball of flesh i'm 63 now after finding videos like these on youtube I won't be flying again I figure I can spend the rest of my life on 4 wheels or 2 feet.
I'm 70 & fly all the time even 737 max 9. Airbus 321. To Hawaii on jet blue & southwest. AA. It's fun and safe. Modern jets have more computerized control. They learned from these old accidents and corrected many of glitches once scary. My aunt 84 retired as a stewardess and just stopped flying.
I was in Basic Training/AIT at Ft. Benning GA when the Soviets shot down South Korean flight 007 in '83. The US government took notice of course. Training took on a far more serious tone. We even briefly had our connections to the outside world cut off. It was a crazy time. Tensions weren't as strained as they were during the Cuban Missile Crisis....no one was waiting to see who blinked first but, during the Cold War any strained relations with the Soviets was a tense time. I doubt anyone (including the Soviets) knew exactly what they would do, at any given time back then.
Always liked the fact that in the chalk ocean airways crash, they showed the lifeguard who was actually portrayed by himself in the reconstruction, rather than an actor.
This is why I am so skeptical of Boeing and Airbus these days. The lack of maintenance oversight and Boeing’s determination to outnumber Airbus. This only leads to safety oversight.
19:41 I live in GA, USA. I came home from work one day to find 17 outdoor trash cans and my neighbor’s chimney in my yard. Almost all of the fencing torn down. I had no idea what was going on. I was for sure I would have heard about a tornado coming through but found out it was a microburst. I’ll never forget what I came home to that day and was so thankful I was at work.
The Singapore 747 that took the wrong runway and crashed into the guys working on the runway could easily have been averted by putting traffic cones over the entrance of the runway.
2:40:46 Why would they put sensitive electronics BACK into water to contain it? Is that supposed to keep rust and corrosion from forming if it dries out? My logic as an electronic repair guy says to get it OUT of water as fast as possible.... 🤷🏻
The Portland, Oregon plane ran out of gas because of the crew's preoccupation with the fact that the landing gear lights did not indicate that the gear was down for landing. However, the gear was down. The plane kept flying a pattern while the crew tried to solve the problem. The captain ignored cautions from the other flight deck staff about the fuel until it was too late. The plane found a "dark area" in which to land, but rather than being a field, it was a patch of trees with 2 unoccupied houses within it, both of which were destroyed. How do I know? The plane passed over our apartment complex and crashed one street away. They had to disassemble parts of the plane to get it out of the neighborhood.
Ok, I have a question regarding the KAL-700flight. Was there no communication with local ATC? Nothing that would help avoid shooting the plane? I find this hard to believe.
Can you see the Cessna somewhere ahead of you? Problem, your eyes are focused at 6 feet ahead of you and you glance at your instruments. Closing speed is 100 miles an hour. The Munich accident was explained in the Sunday papers.

The reaction in these videos between flight 007 and the Iran air one is stark
So very sad but flying is still safe
Nothing is safe on earth unfortunately death is relative
Flying is not safe. You’ve just been sold the idea of safety to make airlines money.
It’s like saying carnivals are safe when you see rides break and injured people all the time.
@@heartsmyfaceforever8140 It's not "all the time." You greatly exaggerate. There's like 4,500 planes in US airspace DAILY at any time. How many bad crashes, again?
5:20
Patching 💩 up instead of replacing it 😡 😢
Lots to learn from this film.
That scream at 51:46 kills me, though.
its an t rex lol-
1:34:20...Probably is The Feeling Some Victims Get as The Terrifying Situation is Too Much For The Mind to Bear
#17 - Walter White on ATC. Heisenberg? Scary!!! lol
the main lesson i took away after watching these videos is that all pilots / co pilots are super models, and i now realise how hard it is being a super model. all day flying these planes, and then a quick lettuce leaf before heading off to work on the catwalk for an evening show. when do these poor princesses get time to sleep ?
They never do.. 😳
I hope you're being sarcastic...or you have never worked a day in your life so these pampered fragile "supermodels" seen like they have it rough to you 😂
When their plane crashes..
Ccccccccococaine...
I don't think super models go on tour like bands or comedians do

Crash #1
7:52
Crash #3
Where the hell is crash #2?!😮
Watching these made me less scared of flying. This is because it allowed me to know that issues that have happened in the pass have already been corrected. ❤❤❤
doesn't mean planes in service have been modded/retro'd you can still crash, burn and die.
You know, you are really a ray of sunshine. If I ever had to be on a plane with you, I would cancel and forfeit my money.
@@badgerden7080???
Yes but planes ✈️ have been in the air since the 50s. True investigators learn from each crash but there are still airlines that put off needed repairs to save money.
And you’ll never know…until it’s too late.
Why do you guys never do western airlines 2605?
Ive never gotten the opportunity too work around these planes so forgive me if i sound stupis but couldn't tower check flaps as well
No. Tower watches radar and planes coming in and going out on it. You're not going to see anything from that far away
The tower in most cases cannot see the planes. They are underground in a room with no windows. Only screens. The ATC upstairs in the glass enclosure can see planes and possibly view positions of flaps whether they are retracted or extended. With binoculars. It has happened.
So we're not even going to finish the crashes?
These videos are so relaxing but I'm fairly certain it's due to the voice over for me. He always sounds so serene.
Imagine having so little, you're willing so move body parts aside to steal a mangled piece of metal and wires. Sorry sons of....
Woah 3 hours
Amazing videos, keep it up pls
Isn't an intimate moment holding someone's hand while taking off 😮
An intimate moment is any consensual skin to skin contact.
Every time it gets good they switch the episode 🥲
Omg those villagers in the boats were looking for jewelry and valuables
Typical
I totally enjoy falling asleep to these also ❤ then I really gotta give it to some of these pilots I mean I could never dream to have the talent that they have I mean like they have the lives of how many people, and somehow they keep their shit together enough to know, sometimes beyond all odds land the thing
On my last flight I was sitting next to a guy who sounding just like the narrator. It was freaking me out a little.
I don't know why the story about the aero mexico crash ends at 49:45, they don't even talk about the crash
The chalks ocean airways explosion jump scared me
48:35 ..see what I mean? So the planes are about to cross paths..so WHAT HAPPENED? Are supposed to just make our own stories up about what actually happened? Just curious?
They literally tell you. The ATC man didn't tell them about the Cessna. 2 of them
My prayers to all those who have been both heroes and sadly victims

Does anyone know which episode the October 8 2001 plane crash in Milan Italy?
I can't imagine what goes thur the mind on a plane all of a sudden it's going down and theres nothing you can do but sit there and be ripped apart on impact you know it would be nothing short of a miracle to survive a plane crash and would you really want to survive maybe to spend the rest of you life as a living ball of flesh i'm 63 now after finding videos like these on youtube I won't be flying again I figure I can spend the rest of my life on 4 wheels or 2 feet.
.me and you dude 🤣
I'm 70 & fly all the time even 737 max 9. Airbus 321. To Hawaii on jet blue & southwest. AA. It's fun and safe. Modern jets have more computerized control. They learned from these old accidents and corrected many of glitches once scary. My aunt 84 retired as a stewardess and just stopped flying.
It's the second flight of the day for this crew.
So nobody, not a single person saw this line 2:27:25 and thought no we cant put that in the final revision Lmao
Congratulations on the crew airmanship award*"just goes to show that relying on your members pays off*"
I like his videos
Ironic that flight 007 was mistaken for a spy plane.
Good
I was in Basic Training/AIT at Ft. I doubt anyone (including the Soviets) knew exactly what they would do, at any given time back then.
they always wait till it happens before doing any thing about it
other instances the pito tube being blocked or frozen could send the plane up or down ? due to the speed ?
46:38 "What the hell have you done" 💀
Always liked the fact that in the chalk ocean airways crash, they showed the lifeguard who was actually portrayed by himself in the reconstruction, rather than an actor.
Ive watched these a milkiin times but didnt know that.. i always felt like he was miles aeay from the crash and not able to get there.
Do you do giveaways in England too x
30:38
We need an update on baby Cecelia 😢😊
This is why I am so skeptical of Boeing and Airbus these days. The lack of maintenance oversight and Boeing’s determination to outnumber Airbus. This only leads to safety oversight.
I'm more sceptical of boeing especially after the whole MCAS fiasco.
There is a really good documentary about it on Netflix.
RIP Harry Gregg (1932-2020).
BRO ALWAYS BOEING
After it is too late the “pull up” call out can be replaced with “you’re fooked”
My mom was a pilot and she joked that after a certain point the call out is replaced with "too late"
The actress that portrays Sonia Hartwick is a very lovely woman. I remember watching that Air Ontario episode on it's own. I'm surprised anyone survived that.
So to keep om time,we will risk leoples lives😢
Okay we will all pretend that was sealant and not just grease lol
